My first impression is that this golf mat is well-made and will be durable. It is an easy golf training tool and provides feedback on your swing for your various clubs. It only comes with one Velcro striker sheet. I will be interested to see how long this sheet lasts. I like that you can order replaceable sheets from NINE+NINE and do not have to replace the whole golf mat. I think this would be a great gift for the golfers in your life. My husband has started playing golf as a hobby with his coworkers, and they have been trying to teach him how to improve his swings. He goes to the course to practice but when I ordered him this to practice at home and for days he can't go to the range, he was super delighted. It's simple design has helped him improve on his swings since the green fabric change shows him what direction he is swinging. I have not had this device long enough to judge its durability, but I am certainly enjoying it right now. The construction seems sound, and the device does not move significantly when I swing. My dad is obsessed with this thing, not only can he use it inside and outside, but its not ruining his grass. But its really great if you're just trying to work on your swing.

Definitely helps with swing path identification and low point of swing. You still have to figure out how to correctly adjust your swing to correct any issues. The problem I have with this product is the durability. The white lines are pealing after less than 2 weeks and probably around 100 swings.

    • Sturdy non-slip rubber base, and easy to see your swing direction.
Pretty simple design, durable rubber base with a green fabric top. When you swing your club you can see it in the fabric, the grains of the fabric change direction making it appear darker. Then just brush back down and swing again. Works!

Day 2. Stickers started peeling after first swing but doesn't seem important. Hit one day of practice and it broke. For the price I expected it wouldn't be great but hoped I didn't have to buy one that cost$100. But as expected I need to buy one for $100.
