Helpful when you can’t grill outdoors and don’t want to use cast iron but it smokes a lot. Also good amount of splatter since there’s no cover with it.

    • Wife not minding me grilling BBQ in the house any more
Color me skeptical at first: grilling without smoke? Well, yes and no. For the most part, this grill is smoke-LESS, but not smoke-FREE, especially when cooking meats at higher temperatures. The good news is, our clothes do smell less of BBQ. Used this to cook some Korean BBQ indoor: lots of pork belly, sliced beef/lamb/pork, and mushrooms. Controls are dial based, and each component was well-designed and looks to be made of pretty good quality. Despite a LOT of fat collecting in the tray below, the meats tasted deliciously good with just a sprinkle of salt. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Now onto the cleaning part: while the griddle was still hot, I took a damp paper towel to wipe away all the crust left behind. At no point did I have to scrub... it all came off fairly easily. Nearly every part looks to be dishwasher safe (except for the heating element, of course). It also makes it easier to clean up the fat collection tray if you add a thin layer of water to it before you grill. This keeps the oil separated from the water. Overall, delicious BBQ indoor with less smoke, although the house (but not so much our clothes) did eventually smell like BBQ. ... show more

    • Easy to clean
I love that I can grill anytime. It is perfect for those rainy days and snowy days. I so far have grilled steaks and pork chops. The grill marks were great and I could keep the temperature where I wanted it. Clean up was so easy. With the cost of food these days, I was able to get that "out to dinner' meal. One thing that people need to know is that, while my plan for usage may not fit others, it is not recommended for use on a stove top oven. My plan was to use the vents from the microwave to move the smoke generated by grilling. I had to design a device to allow it to sit on the oven top which works and does not cause any consequense for the oven. ... show more

It works great. Gives you the grill marks and everything. It does not taste like being on a grill outside. Need to add some smoke flavor to it. Bulky so you will need a good place to store it.

I bought this grill because the complex where I live we’re installing new grills & we like all our chicken & meats grilled. The grill fits nicely on top of my stove & exhaust fan. It works great, not too smokey, perfect grill lines & fast! I use the griddle side a lot also & the eggs come out perfect & do not stick!. Big enough to cook home fries, bacon, sausages, & eggs all at once! Very easy to clean. I love it! ... show more
