This grill was extremely easy to assemble with clear instructions and no obvious tolerance issues. Traveling and storing the grill is a breeze thanks to its sleek profile, and the legs can be easily attached and removed with their twist knobs. When it comes to cooking, this grill works great and has a large surface area, which makes it perfect for cooking small items quickly and in large quantities. However, in my experience, the grill is horrible when it comes to cooking high-fat meats, such as lamb, kebabs, and high-fat steaks, as even the thicker grates can't handle the heat, and they start to glow red and deform. Overall, the barbeque is great for hotdogs, chicken, and low-fat burgers, but I strongly recommend against cooking any high-fat protein on it. ... show more

Purchase this bbq for my husband birthday. He loves the portability of it. He mostly grills table top with out the legs. With the carrying bag packing up and taking it on roadtrips are easy. Highly recommend.

The instructions were less than Ikea instructions and not very clear. I still don't know how to install the two handles. The metal started to rust after clean up. The grates are thin. I wrapped aluminum foil and it still hard to clean. As someone else stated not good for high fat meats. Perhaps coat with the non stick spray before use. If you plan on portable use, you will need to constantly remove the legs and reinstall the legs. Not a problem, just an FYI. ... show more

When I got this, I did not pay attention to the height of this grill and the pictures are quite misleading showing adults standing and using this grill. I'm tall at 6'3" but I have to either bend in half, sit in a chair or be on my knees to grill on this mini thing. If you're going camping, tailgating or family picnic this would be decent if they don't have a grill at the place already or you don't have space for a larger grill. It would be decent but definitely not for regular use. The metal is very thin but it's also fairly cheap so you're not going to get heavy duty. For what it is it's quite compact and gives you plenty of options. You can definitely cook for several people on it and it holds enough hot coals to cook most things. The unit itself goes together easily and the charcoal insert is nice. It's easy to take out when your done to clean out your goals. For the price I think it's a good option if you're looking for something that will work and can be transported easily. Just be aware of the height! ... show more

This grill is of decent quality, and easy to setup and use. Everything you see in the photos is exactly how it works in real life. Plenty of room for all manner of BBQ adventures. I like that it's free standing. Often portable grills require being placed on a table, or even the ground. This one has the height of a normal BBQ. There are a couple of caveats. It's an obscure brand. If you don't need the free standing height, for less money you can get a highly rated (thousands of reviews) Weber portable grill on Amazon for less money. And the Weber has a lid, something this one does not. A lid is extremely useful for a variety of reasons. This one is more of an open pit experience. Something to consider.
