I got two of these for both front seats - I didn’t use the straps to attach them as I like to reposition them every so often for comfort. Great for long drives I thought the price was good so I purchased two. The support is good, I get lower back pain when driving for long periods of time. This thing works very well in my car, which has zero lumbar support, but for whatever reason it's awful on any of my chairs, I guess because it pushes me too far forward on the chair. I mostly just wanted it for the car, though, so this is okay with me. I used it when my back was in horrible shape and I had to go on a long road trip, and it was great, very supportive. The straps are pretty long and work well for my car seats. It's easy to switch back and forth from the passenger to driver's seat when needed. ... show more

I have a condition called kyphosis or curvature of the spine which has gradually developed as I age. As a consequence I experience lower lumbar pain if I have to drive any distance. The lumbar pad has provided the firmness and support I need. I’m very pleased with comfort the pad provides.

I drive a jockey truck for twelve hours and this has saved me from a lot of pain. It works great! The size and thickness is just right. I love the fact that you can fasten it around your seat so there’s no constant adjustment you have to do. Highly recommend!

It took me a little while and getting the position on the car seat. It only had a single strap that goes around the back of the car seat. The problem with only one strap, it moves around and your always having to position (doesn't take long), but it is kinda a pain when your just trying to get in the car and go. It's big, perhaps to big for little cars, so it feels like it's pushing you into the steering wheel sometimes. Might want to get the measurement of the size and thickness off the site just to check it will work for you. ... show more

The Civic Type R actually comes with really comfortable Recaro seats. But like many car seats, they don't have great lumbar support. The toughest part is to find the right product that works with racing seats, since these seats don't fall into the larger generic category. I gave this lumbar cushion a try. The straps do fit around the seats, but I would still adjust things slightly as I get in. I used to get lower back soreness in an one-hour stop-n-go traffic drive in a work commute. With these cushion, I drove 6 hours (with breaks every two hours) from SoCal to NorCal and felt great outside of fatigue from the drive. As we can see in the photo, I got a second cushion for the passengers. I think buying a second unit answers the biggest question about this product. ... show more
