  • Holds secure and charges (slow), but had to buy a ring to give it enough oomph to charge with
At first it would not charge longer than 15 seconds no matter what I tried. I have an XS max with a slim case. I added a MagSafe ring to the outside of my case & that seems to have fixed the disconnect. It charges slow, but it does charge. Almost perfect…a few more revisions & this could be great.

  • Great Mount, but a Sub-Standard Wireless Charger
The first time I purchased this item, it stopped charging after 2 weeks. I returned it and received a replacement. This review is about the replacement. As a mount, this device is great. I like how easily the pop-socket slides into the charger's groove. Once in, the phone is nice and snug. As a wireless charger, it's not great. The mount gets quite warm after several minutes of charging. I find that if I remove the phone, then remount it while the charger is still warm, the charger struggles to wirelessly reconnect to the phone, and it doesn't charge. If I wait a few minutes for the charger to cool down, it will likely reconnect quickly. When mounted, especially in a car, I find it best to tilt the mount back slightly to let gravity help keep the phone pressed closely to the charger. If the mount is leaning forward, or even perfectly vertical, the mount and phone may lose their connection. This is especially true while driving. Bumps can cause the charger and phone to lose their connection, even though the phone is still securely mounted. Overall, this is an OK product, but there are annoying quirks with the wireless connection. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. ... show more

  • The best for the job.
I do food deliveries and this is the perfect solution. Since you need to take your phone with you for every pickup and droppoff, this saves you from the hassle of constantly plugging and unplugging on deliveries. I considered madsafe solutions, but the pop socket is soooo helpful, particularly when I have to look at my phone while carrying food deliveries without worrying about dropping my phone. They did this right. I was even able to swap the charger onto another ball and socket phone holder I had. Having the different attachments is so helpful, because I feel I can truly mount this however I need. Now that I know this works great with pop sockets, I'll be getting another one for my home, so I can leave this one in the car. ... show more

  • My wife loves it
Her old car mount was terrible the pop socket wouldn’t let it sit in all the way this is low key genius

  • Works great!
I have used this product for about a month now and I love it. I have the real popsocket brand on my phone case and it fits perfectly. The wireless charging feature is great. I currently have it setup on my vent because I haven't removed my older broken set up, but I hope to use the other setup soon!

  • More than a charger, a life partner.
Okay okay okay. I know. You need a phone mount for your car, your phone has wireless charging, and you wish there was an easier way than messing with cords every single time you get in and out. I Doordash on the side, and it’s honestly not even worth bringing my cord out when I get out of the car 5 minutes later. 2 hours into a dash, and my phone is at 20%. Ugh. Give me a break. Well, WITH THIS BAD BOY, you can leave your phone in the case. That’s right. I have the otter box commuter case for my iPhone 11 Pro Max that has the pop socket pre attached. You LITERALLY SLIDE THAT MESS INTO THE DOCK with the pop socket closed, and bam! Charging. I know. Hard to believe. But it’s true. It’s literally solved all of my problems. You can attach it to your vent, so if you are like me and you live where hades is your neighbor (south texas), the cool air from your AC will help cool your phone while you are all baking in the hot south sun. Leaving your case on is also handy when you are delivering Michael’s order and your phone takes a ride down 17 steps standing in front of the customer at their front door. Not having to sacrifice my phone just to use wireless charging in my car, uh yes please. I get your hesitation. What if it doesn’t charge? Get a thinner case. What if my pop socket is too thick? Get a normal thin one. It’s worth it. It doesn’t fall, and my phone doesn’t spin going 45 miles around a turn on two wheels when karlas Marcos pizza was suppose to be delivered 20 minutes ago. Honestly just buy it already. It’ll be here in two days. ... show more

  • Does the job
Needs a wire from your power for this wireless charger... so your dashboard still looks as messy. The nice part is since the wire will be staying here, you can hide it and you don't have to plug and unplug each time. There's a warning of how thin your pop socket has to be to charge; both my Android and my spouses' iPhone charged without trouble. Now I want two of them from one socket! ... show more

  • Great charger, remember to collapse the PopSocket!
This has worked well for my wife. The vent clip is strong but soft and won't damage your car. The mount is easy to adjust to various positions, and if you tighten it properly does not come loose. You just need to remember to push your phone towards the charger so the PopSocket collapses, otherwise it won't charge (of course) due to the distance. The only issue I have is that it is designed to hold onto the swappable PopSocket cover. Depending on the age of your PopSocket, angle of phone, or roughness of road, it could detach, dropping your phone in the car. I'd love to see a redesign where it grabs hold of the collapsible rubber portion of the PopSocket instead. That said, we haven't had a problem with this yet, but I can foresee it happening to someone. Still, I recommend this for anyone with a PopSocket on their phone, looking to charge on the go, without plugging in! ... show more
