Overall a solid kit to start, you get a nice selection and you can make some cute, basic bracelets and necklaces. That being said, you don’t get many of each bead due to the nature of the bins. This is by far one of the best bead sets I've ever had. There is such a huge variety of options. There's beads I've never seen before with different styles and different shades of the rainbow. You have your neons, glitter, bold colors, letters, fruit, shapes, etc. And the strings was elastic so super stretchy. My kids and I made bracelets had such a fun time. It also comes with tweezers and scissors (not sharp so kids can use) which made it easy to make the jewelry. Loved these! ... show more

I bought these to make keychains for my students backpacks for the end of the year. There were so many colors and variety and the beads were great quality! There were so many options so I only had to use this set. Great set!

Honestly a fantastic bead set with a great variety of beads and tools to help make creating easy and fun. I would definitely purchase again! Pros - The cases are reusable so even if you use up all of the beads that come with the set you can keep using the cases - The tweezers were a game changer. When I was growing up I never used tweezers but they are so useful - So many fun variety's of colors/shiny/clear beads. It makes it really fun to make things with it - You can't make a huge necklace out of a single color, but each color has a good quantity of items - The letter sets seem to come with about 3 copies of each letter (I didn't actually sit down and count it out but that's seems to be pretty consistent) - All the beads fit on the provided string - The provided string is elastic and comes in a bunch of fun colors and you get a good amount of string in each color (multiple necklaces/bracelets from each one) Cons - One bead out of all of them had a faulty hole (honestly better odds than most any other bead set I've ever used) - The scissors that come with it are pretty cheap, but you're not buying the set for the scissors so it doesn't really matter. - A little pricey for a starter set (19.99 when I got it and the price has already gone up since then) ... show more

I really very much liked for my ten year old! I was very pleased with the wide variety of colors and strings, and my kiddo literally said "Wow!" when they opened the box! I was also more than happy with the packaging! Instead of being geared towards only girls, it was very kid friendly, and so my son who likes working with beads didn't feel like he was getting a girl gift, just something that all kids could find fun. There were lots of beads of every color, well organized in plastic containers with pop lids - it looks super impressive and is a really nice set with everything that is included here.
