    • This Is A Good Smoker!
Love this smoker. I was worried at first by the reviews I read about dents and damage in shipping. I received mine on 3/16/25 and it was perfect, no damage at all. Not sure how any damage can happen the way it is packaged. Easy to assemble, took me 2 hours but I was taking my time while enjoying a cocktail or two. Fired it up for the first time today (3/17), 47 degrees outside and had no problem reaching 305 degrees. This is going to be perfect for low and slow smoking at 225 degrees. The door has a good seal too, no leaking smoke from it. This is a good smoker. The one thing I do not like is the thermometer that came with the unit would not go over 250 degrees when the ThermoPro probes said 305 degrees. Most thermometers that come with smokers and grills are never right. ... show more

Bought this for my husband. He is a beginner and so far it has done really well! It’s easy for him to use, and the food tastes great! Unfortunately it’s hard to get the right temp in the cold weather which i have discovered is a common thing with any smoker! Overall great buy!

As far as smokers go, it's great, and I am convinced that propane smokers are better that electric. The biggest downside is the size of the chip/pellet tray. On low mode you have to add chips constantly about every hour and a half. The other issue I had with it after my first use was the temperature gauge clouded up, and that is sad because everything else seems well designed and built. I will attempt to warranty the gauge with pit boss. It wasn't hard to assemble either. Overall great value. ... show more

Great smoker for beginners! I’ve tried several smokers in the past that didn’t hold up, but this one has been perfect every time. It’s easy to use, even if you’re new to smoking, and delivers consistent results. I’ve used it multiple times already, and the food comes out great every time!

It came here with a dented door. And then found out that it's outdated. And you can't get replacement foil pans. Totally discussed I'll never buy pit boss again

I have used this alot so far for smoking salmon. Smokes much longer than the one I had. Larger wood chip tray than the one I had. I like that you can set the temperature lower than I am used to. Works much better at the lower temperature.

Love the smoker. Been doing meats and having a blast. However, when the box arrived the metal was bent out of shape and dented in numerous spots. Had to use an auto body hammer to reshape some parts to get it out together. Temperature is difficult to set as there’s no recommended areas on the knob to say for instance 250. Just the typical low or high flame portion. But getting the hang of it. The metal is thing gauge so it loses the heat if not monitored. But overall I’m loving the taste of my meats. ... show more
