If you are looking for something to try to get into better shape, but are also limited on space this is the product for you. After unboxing it was a bit confusing as there are not clean instructions on how to set it up, and you have to play around with it a bit to full understand (thus the 4 star review). Once you have that done you are ready to go, and while the sample workouts which are included are nice, you can also find loads more on youtube. Now on to the equipment. The bar is very nice and stable after you put it together, and while the padding is nice, if you are doing squats you might want to have a towel between your neck and the bar. The handles are well made, along with the feet holders. The bands also seem to be well made, and so far no issues with them. The clips and the rings are solid, and the good thing is if by chance one of the clips were to break you can find them on Amazon, Walmart, and large sporting good stores. After using this do I feel that I am getting the same or close to the same workout if I went to the gym? Well the answer is yes I do. This is not for those that want to get ripped, but for those that want to be in better shape and trying to get toned up. I would (and have) recommend these Resistance Bands based on the quality and pricing. ... show more

Very good quality but the bands don’t have enough resistance.I’m 5’4and you cannot wrap the bands around the bar to get more tension because of the material that’s around the rubber bands. So most likely this would be great for taller people

Lots of option in a box with this set. Figuring them out can be a bit of a challenge. The box comes with 24 different exercise ideas with drawings, which are great. You are on your own to figure out how to put the pieces together to make everything work. The set seems sturdy. It is very versatile, including resistance bands from 25 to 45 pounds. That will allow both my husband and me to get in workouts, and provide me a chance to up my game. I got this specifically because we need exercise options that fit into small spaces. This covers a lot of muscle groups and fits in a small box. What it doesn’t fit in is the bag that comes with it. I am not sure the point of including a bag that isn’t big enough for the required contents. Note: While I am an avid exerciser, I have not been a bona fide pilates user, so I cannot give an opinion on its suitability in that regard. I’m so impressed with this entire set. I’m a beginner and this has some great levels of resistance bands. I love the poster that I will hang on my wall in my designated workout room. I never remember what exercises to do, so that poster will be a big help. I like the door sign that says not to open when you’re doing exercises that involve the door. This is my second full set pilates bar. I immediately liked everything about this one more, but throughout a few different workouts where I have to lift the bar from the ground to the ceiling, the straps come unattached. By straps, I mean where you can adjust and the numbered inches are. I plan to adjust it and see if it's user error and I'm able to rectify the issue. Apart from that, I can't recommend enough. It's phenomenal and you're able to get so so so much out of it. Pilates bars help target deep muscles for faster results. So versatile easy to assemble, definitely portable, and very easy to use.
