This set is a nice quality set. It arrives nicely packaged and the set even includes a black drawstring bag for storage and transport. My only complaint is that the parts aren't labeled and there are no instructions for assembly. This is my first bar set so I'm not familiar with the parts. Fortunately, it comes with a chart that has drawings of exercises on it and one can use that as a guide as to what the pieces and parts are for. There is also a list on the side of the box titled "packing list" that includes the names of all the pieces so that can help too. I'm no hard-body but I've exercised on and off for most of my adult life (25+ yrs) and I'm always looking for something new. I've always enjoyed strength training so I expect to enjoy using this set. Got this to supplement some older, worn-out resistance bands... the latex on those degrades after some time, needing replacement, and this set seems to fit the bill. It's your average quality setup - nothing special - with usable attachements and a card for workouts that really doesn't add a lot of value. The set of carabeiners in the clips are a little suspect for their strength - but then again the loads imposed are not that high. The rest of the materials seem like they'll hold up for the useful life of the stretchy band, which is all that matters. This is a good and compact set to augment your workout routine. ... show more

This is the third set of resistance bands/bars we've tried out and it's by far the best. The bands and bars are super durable. It's very easy to set up. The attachments for the door work amazingly which has been our main complaint with other sets. The variety of resistance bands is adequate to get a moderate workout at home with little fuss or setup. This kit is well made, with a sturdy padded bar, and a nice variety of heavy duty nylon straps and resistance bands. This kit would be great for anyone with limited workout space , or for travel, so you can still get a workout in when you can't get to the gym.

Right away, I noticed the bar is much heavier and feels more substantial. I may find out later that it is just heavy and not really stronger, but it feels solid. I like that. The bands are covered. That's another plus. If I have any complaints, it may be that the foot holders are a little long. I'm 5'10" and with the adjustment straps pulled all the way up, I still have no resistance at the bottom of my squat. Overall, this is the best set I've used. I would like a little more resistance, but I haven't found any rating on the bar. I may add a band from a different set and see what happens. Happy with these. ... show more
