The media could not be loaded. For my first cat water fountain I chose to go with the inexpensive "flower" fountain, which the kitties loved. However, it would randomly clog and overflow, which caused it to periodically drench the mat below and eventually... fry my floor outlet despite my best efforts to protect it. I questioned whether buying another fountain was worth the risk and finally broke down to purchase this one, along with a silicone mat with a lip. I just got this set up so I cant comment on its longterm functionality. The design is amazing... I purchased the black and it is sleek and I love the wood grain. It was easy to assemble and all components come apart for thorough cleaning (something that my previous fountain did not do, which I believe eventually led to it becoming scummy very soon after cleaning). So the ability to clean it is HUGE for me. By far the coolest feature, which I did not notice until I received it, is that the water reservoir lifts from the base that powers it. It works by magic like a wireless phone charger. This means that I don't have to unplug the unit to clean or refill it, and I dont risk the cord getting wet during cleaning. The cord is also a braided/protected wire with a C port so it is not as easily damaged by kitty teeth and can be replaced. Additional positives... its quiet and the app will alert me if the water level is low... this is an absolute must because the walls are not transparent so determining water levels is impossible. I just hope the app is accurate! For the above reasons, this fountain was money well spent! ... show more

So far, everything has been great with the PETLIBRO water fountain and app for monitoring. It was very easy to put together, and seems as if it will be very easy to clean. I noticed a lot of people were having issues with the app when reading other reviews, but I haven’t had an issues with it sending notifications when my cat hasn’t drank any water from it. Sometimes it takes a second to register if you’ve refilled the fountain, but besides that, it has worked perfectly. It tells you how much water your cat drank and for how long which is convenient to know and also tells you when you need to change the filters. It even allows you to set water goals for your cat to watch his or her progress. It also holds a decent amount of water. So far, I’ve loved it and so has my cat! ... show more

This thing is quiet! The app is also really easy to use, it only tracks the amount of water your pet drinks when it registers a weight difference in a short period of time. Easy to set up and really fast to clean, I like the notifications I'm given to remind me to clean and replace the filters. Overall, I enjoy this product and it's by far the best water fountain for cats! (The app did have an issue for about a day or two with the fountain losing connection, however, the company sent out an email right away about the issue and resolved it within a day, so the customer service and the development team is working hard to satisfy their customers and fix app issues as soon as possible!) ... show more

The pump works as expected but the app is a little off. It notified me that my cat was drinking water but my cat was sitting next to me. The water fountain itself is great. My cat likes it. It’s quiet and doesn’t leak. I do like Petlibro products. My cats previous water fountain still worked and I had it for about 2 years. I only switched to a new one because I saw that they had a wireless pump with the app feature. I also have a Petlibro food dispenser and had that for almost 4 years. It works perfectly fine and I never had an issue. I do recommend Petlibro products. ... show more

I have had this for quite some time now for our darling cat. She has peepee problems and doesn’t drink enough water. I am able to see when she drinks and how much to report back to vet. I am able to see if she is feeling off very quickly based on water intake. My older gen parents made fun of me for being so instense but she is very important to me. Petlibro allows me to make things easier on myself to take the best care of her. The last brand we had got slimy so fast. Not this one!! Reminds me to replace filters and do cleanings. Holds a bunch of water and allows you to have constant flow or only flow for 15 minutes on and the off. It detach from base so refilling is very easy and doesn’t get water all over the place like the other one we tried. This is our 2nd Petlibro product and we are hooked! Very durable and quality is top tier. The product finish is very aesthetic. We will be staying with Petlibro for all our smart pet products from now on!! Thank you Petlibro!!!! ... show more

The pump on my previous fountain died after about a year. I decided to try this unit that is more expensive. I hated that the power cord went directly into the tank to connect to the pump on my old fountain. The tank on this fountain can be picked up easily from the base as it just sits upon it with no wired connections. And without wires sticking out, the tank is a breeze to clean and refill. The app is nice but not a big deal. I think the app may be most useful as a reminder when it's time to clean it. The fountain looks quite nice too. ... show more
