This is perfect for a food and water bowl. The non-skid is great. Wipes up nicely. And looks adorable. I got the Pink-Orange (don't recall exact color name). It has a nice terra cotta feel to it - perhaps with a touch more pink. Looks great and sort of blends into our wood florr.
