  • Good traps
We use them in our basement to catch bugs and the occasional mouse. They work well and are easy to use.

  • Large Boards - Wonderful for mice and bugs - Best price out there.
I was a bit skeptical about getting 75 large glue boards for $25. Having experienced the ease at which amazon allows returns of items not meeting expectations, I decided to give them a try. Despite the description giving the size of them, I actually expected them to be the small boards (which would still be a good buy at this price). I was pleasantly surprised at the good quality of these boards. They can be used outright flat and work very well at catching large mice and bugs (especially spiders). They are also perforated on one edge to allow for placement of the glue right against a wall. The are also tabbed and allow to easily be folded and tented making it less likely for your pet to get caught up in it. If you are needing the small sized boards, these can easily be cut with scissors before the protective paper is taken off. They have a good "peanut butter" odor that attracts mice and some insects. The glue is extremely sticky and as good, if not better than the expensive traps sold at stores such as Walmart and Lowes. Since receiving my first order, I have caught over a dozen mice and too many insects to count. I used them primarily in my outdoor buildings and they hold up well even in high humidity. I have not seen any where the mice have escaped (fur left behind). I have now ordered a second box just to make sure I have plenty. ... show more

  • Price is Good, but Mice May Get Away
We live on a farm, and mice are constantly trying to make their homes in our garage. We've done traps, and poison, etc. I like the sticky pads because you can throw the whole thing away. At the hardware store, one or two sticky pads will cost $6, so when I found these, I bought them--it is a GREAT price for the number of "glue boards." Here's the deal...they are cheaper because the glue is less sticky than the really expensive ones. We have had times when we go into the garage and just see hair stuck to the pad, because the mouse has wiggled its way off. They can also wiggle themselves away from where the pad is initially placed (sometimes it'll be 5-6 feet away). So, if you buy these, you have to check them frequently. Some mice get on them in a way that they can't get off, but it all depends... I still give 4 stars, because they work well enough for us, and the amount for the price is great. I can't handle live mice, trying to get away and when my husband isn't around to throw them out right away, I honestly get the BB gun and put the mice out of their misery (and also to make sure they won't escape), then throw them away, or wait for my husband to get home and do it. ... show more

  • Much cheaper than snap traps
I love these traps. I've always used snap traps and usually I hated to use a snap trap more than once. I went by what my father and grandfather told me - mice can smell the blood from the other mice that have been killed in the traps and will avoid them. Only time I would reuse is if was a "live catch" like a back leg or a tail. But these, these are great for the price. I know the routes that the mice take in my house and I make sure to lay these out in those areas - most the time I don't even have to bait them, because the mouse will come sailing thru on it's way to where ever and not realize there is a trap there. Sometimes I will use a little bit of Maple Syrup which really gets their attention. I have also caught multiple mice on one trap. The highest number I caught was 4 on a one board. As far as the trap catching them and hold them - there are some important issues here. These can not be used where it is VERY COLD, the glue will not be flexible enough to trap the mouse. Do not allow dust and debris to collect on the surface of the trap, this will also cut down on the sticky surface needed for catching the mouse. Honestly - don't bother building the little house feature - in my opinion, it gives the mouse something to reach for to help chew and drag itself off of the trap. Also, make sure to check your traps often. If you catch a mouse and it is a "firm" catch, that mouse might be able to chew the paper trap enough to set itself free. Set up a habit of checking your traps at least 2-3 times per day. Disposal - now this is something that I'm pretty sensitive to. I don't think any creature should suffer - I know people will lambaste me and say I'm making a mouse suffer by using this trap. My view point on that is this "That sucker shouldn't have come into my house, it doesn't pay rent, my house isn't it's natural environment and I'm not with the EPA or PETA so I'm not getting paid to relocate them". But once it is on the trap I do want to end it suffering as quickly as I can - and as safely for ME as possible. I will usually use a plastic grocery bag and turn it like I was going to pick up dog feces - I grasp one end of the trap, usually the farthest from the mouse if possible. I try to make sure the bag doesn't touch the trap and I head for the bathroom toilet. I place the that the mouse is stuck to in the toilet water and it will drown within about 30-45 seconds. Once it stops moving, wrap the plastic bag over it and it is ready for the outside trashcan.. ... show more

  • Got ya!
This is great for catching bugs, spiders, etc. I change these once every two weeks. I put them all around the doors leading into the house and under dressers etc. It's amazing how many bugs you get on these things even with having sprayed around the house.
