I initially bought these to use with my resin projects as I was going through lighters too fast and needed something that I could get more cost effective use out of. Plus, we always have a candle burning, so why not have a couple reusable lighters around the house. The flame, even on the lowest setting, is quite strong, so that might take some getting use to, but I'm impressed by the quality of these despite the price. My only concern is that there's no safety options. Most lighters nowadays require you to push/pull two different buttons to ignite it and these are a simple slide. Definitely make sure you keep these out of reach of children. Mine will be tucked away in a kitchen cabinet so the kids (and dogs) can't get to them. I will add one note on the fill instructions. Instructions say it takes 10-15 seconds and I found that they would fill in less than 5 seconds. So just be careful with that or you'll end up wasting a little fuel like I did. ... show more

Lacks flame range especially in the low zones. No hold on feature. Takes a dozen tries to light and easily blows out even from the draft of the air conditioner. Do not buy. Cheap garbage.

One works as it should, but the flame keeps going out on the other one within seconds of lighting it. Not very useful! And, I wish they made some pocket size ones. These were a bit larger than I expected.
