  • A foot switch in NOT included. You have to order it direct from Peavey.
Great amp! Nice selection of on-board effects & built in tuner! Only 23 pound which makes set up a breeze! Excellent speaker output and can be tied in to your sound system & used as a stage monitor!

  • Great sound and features galore in a lightweight package
I was looking for a bass combo amp that was more powerful than a practice amp, but not so bulky/heavy that schlepping it to a gig and back would wear me out. The Max 100 fits the bill perfectly. It has both passive and active instrument inputs (Perfect! I have one of each bass!), effects send & return jacks (everything goes through the same pedal[s]!), a headphone jack for when you DO have to practice AND an aux input for your music sources, and even a balanced XLR direct output when the Max's 65 watt output isn't quite loud enough for the room you're playing. The 10-inch speaker handles my 5-string's low B without getting farty. A three-band EQ with bass contour, mid-shift, and bright buttons gives you plenty of tone control. There's even a built-in chromatic tuner (because you can't have enough tuners, right?). And all this comes in a very manageable 24 pound enclosure. It's basically everything I wanted and needed in a compact, affordable bass combo. ... show more

  • Nice amp for the price
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ability to push the DBs. My only criticism was a single passive input.

  • Lots of tones from one amp.
This thing is great. I can get everything from a clean classic tone, up to something that sounds like it came from a Mayhem album, all with no additional effects. It even has a tuner, so you can really get away without a pedal board at all.

  • No es muy buena
Muy buen sonido al principio si sonó muy bien pero después se sobrecalentó y se apagaba y no me sirve así

  • Too big and too loud
I like the sound it produces, but it can be a little too much at times. If you are looking for a practice amp or an amp for small gatherings, this might be a good choice as its good. But if you live with people, they will probably end up hating you as it makes a lot of noise. Shakes a lot of stuff in my room. One thing I didn't like is that I didn't even have the treble that high and it would produce some white noise/static which I wasn't a big fan of since I wasn't playing rock and roll. I needed a loud clean tone, not a static sound. ... show more
