Description

The Patio Pacific Cat Door for Horizontal Sliding Windows gives your cats the freedom to come and go as they please without the commitment of more permanent installation in doors or walls. The spring-loaded design expands into the furthest point of your window track for a secure, weathertight fit, no tools required. This horizontal window pet door features a flexible, vinyl flap that cats of all sizes (and even small dogs) can easily pass through. Features: Horizontal window cat door installs quick and easy into your sliding window track (track must be at least 1” thick, installation in larger tracks may require some securing). Sliding window pet door insert fits track height between 34" ? 37", 43" ? 46", 46 " ? 49", and 57" ? 60" (for window track measurements within 1" of the lower range (e.g. 35" for the window height range of 34" ? 37"), you will need to make sure that you have enough clearance to insert the panel in the track). 5 ?" x 8 ¼" flexible, vinyl flap accommodates small dogs and cats of all sizes. Sturdy, white aluminum frame withstands corrosion due to weather. Durable 3/16” single-pane, tempered glass is ideal for mild climates. The media could not be loaded. I got this product for my cats to have a little freedom outside, and it was totally worth it. It arrived in two days and took only a few seconds to install, no need for any assembly or modification to my window frame. Just make sure your window is within the specified height range. It fits very snug once the top is adjusted and I'm not worried about it falling out. Plus, its made from aluminum so I think it will hold up very well to any roughing. My only concerns are that I can't lock my window (however a dowel rod on the rail works just fine) and that there is a very small gap (as seen in my last picture) between my window and the pet door frame. I'm sure a little bit of weatherstripping would solve this though! Overall a high quality, effective product for a reasonable price. ... show more

The product seems good quality and well made. Once I got it in it looks great and will see how it holds up. Warning there are absolutely no instructions and it doesn’t seem to even come with the parts you need to install in slightly larger windows. Luckily I had some long machine screws and nuts on hand to set the top panel to the right height. It’s a little uneven though and nothing seemed to fix that unless it was flush with the bottom part which would be too small for the window. Would recommend some foam insulation tape around the sides too which im glad I had on hand as well. Would have been much more frustrated messing with it to get it in and needing to run to the store half way through, so get the parts before you begin the install. ... show more

I originally tried making my own cat door for my window, but it was quickly turning into a disaster. I finally caved and bought this one even though it's a high price, and frankly I think it's worth it. It has held up very well and I am really pleased with the build quality. It is very strong, the glass is clear and is properly weatherstripped, the cat door magnetically latches and includes a cover, and it was very easy to adjust it to fit the height of my window. The door itself is sturdy and fit well. The bottom was bent in on the bottom and if I wasn't able to bend back it wouldn't have fit. I never heard back from seller, which was unfortunate and automatically will not see me doing business with them again. My senior cat took to the flap very well.
