Using this for my indoor cats ( 2 ) to sleep in at night. Before anyone tries to judge NO they do not stay in there all day long! Fits the litter box I have very well. I like that it's customizable although they will provide the standard way to build it. Be sure to build this in the room/area that you want to keep it in! Made the rookie mistake of thinking it can fit through a normal size door. How to dissemble and reassemble. This thing takes quite a while to build. Bought this for my Maine Coon that likes to play with my bread while I’m away. I’ve had enough when he ate my stroganoff. Platforms are flimsy. He’s a big cat, so reinforce with ALOT of zip ties. It’s taking over my small living room. And make sure you put it together right the first time or you’ll have to get inside it to fix it. I just make my teenager do it. So this was a chore to put together but my ADHD loved it. When together it is super large, in the highest part I can stand in it which was what I wanted. May actually get another smaller set to make it taller through the whole kennel. I had to use 4 panels from another set to complete this to the size/shape I wanted (the clear pannels seen in picture) For the record I help run a cat rescue and this kennel is for my in-home fosters. There are other regular kennels in the edges of the picture for isolation and recovery. Cons: *This is NOT the kennel for you if you have cats that desperately want out but perfect for my momma cat, her sister, and the 4 little babies to comfortably have enough room. A cat that -really- wants out of this could bust it open or even pull up the bottom if they tried really hard. *Doors are small and the clips they come with are terrible. I ended up ditching the clips and using clips made for power cord storage. Velcro straps would also work well. *I thought when buying the bigger set it would come with the shelves but it did not. The description was not very clear. Side bonus though, it's big enough to put a rather big cat tree in! *Sooooo many zip ties. I didn't use them all, only reinforcing the bottom edge and at spots where it was clearly not connecting well. *doors, even when made to be tall, are not easy to get in and out of. I'm a fairly small person and it's still a bit of a struggle to get in and out and pull the litterbox out to clean. Pros: *Super easy to clean in general. *Roomy! This thing is tall and big and perfect for multiple cats *it takes up space without feeling like it's dominating the room. This is harder to explain... it takes up about a 4th of my small kitten room but the way it's made doesn't feel like a bulky cage so the room doesn't feel closterphobic. *It did take me a long time to put together but it's so versatile! Can be made to fit in any space and even make turns and tunnels if you like. I love that I can change it to suit the needs of the cats inside or the confines of the room. *Can buy other sets and use to make the enclosure even bigger! ... show more

Bought it for my two kittens, used zip ties and all made sure everything was secured it literally got taken down by 2 kittens that are not even a few weeks old. Pretty poor quality product.

    • Not What I Hoped For

I had hoped something in this price range would be a little more sturdy. Assembly wasn't too difficult at first, but the taller it gets, the more it wants to slide apart. I have absolutely covered it in zip ties, but the structure itself isn't intuitively designed. The caps that hold things together are prone to popping off or making the layer above that slide around, and the metal panels were sliding out of the links while I built until I got more zip ties and went wild with them. I got it because I needed to separate unfixed cats between appointments for spaying/neutering (to keep males/females separate) and just by existing in the thing, they end up knocking down the bottom platform sometimes. It makes me worry the structural integrity may end up being thrown off. It's a bit disheartening. It's done the job, though, and hasn't collapsed and made kitty pancakes of my cats, so I can't say it's completely useless. I just wish it had been a bit better quality, and perhaps a little easier to work with in general. ... show more

Finally I can sleep… my brother in law brought home a cat not knowing she was pregnant (gave birth six days later), and of course it ended up being me who did most of the caring of the kittens and mama after birth. Only problem is mama kept trapping herself or bringing kittens to dangerous spots. So we tried to keep her contained in a pen with blankets clipped to the top. She escaped constantly and would scratch the couch and yowl while we slept. My boyfriend woke up every night and (he does not want a cat) tell me to get up and put her back. I was sick of waking up to her yowling at the door multiple times in the night so I decided I was done with the escaping and invested in THIS. IT WORKS GREAT SHE CANT ESCAPE!! And I put a tower in it so she has space away from her babies. She often still chooses to sleep on top of her litter box but she appreciates the tower. It took a while to assemble (we started at midnight) and if you need to move it to clean out the bedding, it takes two people to lift it up. But this product is exactly what I needed and the price is well worth my ability to sleep!!! I am keeping one of the babies and I’m not sure I want to keep the cage after the rest are gone, but it will be a pain to disassemble. ... show more

There isn't much to dislike. It was easy to put together. He only stays in it while I'm at work. My mother has an aversion to animals. It's a great size for my one cat. He jumps up and down the platforms and it's sturdy.
