I ordered this shredder to replace my old Bonsaii shredder (5 years old). I wanted a larger capacity shredder so after reading reviews decided to try this one. Amazon shipped the factory box in a box so shredder arrived in good nick. It is definitely quieter than my old shredder and works great. Paper feed is a little slower than my old 1bonsaii but not enough to bother me. I do not attempt to shred up to 18 sheets and usually deal with only 1-3 sheets at time for junk mail. Clear window on the bin is handy to see when its getting full and even has a cool blue light inside to see bin contents. Wheels are nice to move it around but note this unit is top heavy so be careful rolling around carpet. Hopefully this one will last at leasta s long as my old shredder so time will tell. ... show more

I have had this shredder for a few months now and I use it almost everyday. The first day I had an entire box to shred and it kept going and going. Never overheating like other shredders do. I am so happy that I bought this one. I also bought bags to put in the trash bin part of it and love that. love that the trash can just pulls out, no lifting the shredder part off the top. It hold a lot too which is very nice. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good shredder. (Small office user) ... show more

The paper shredder works as described. I have not tried to put the maximum amount of paper in it as of yet. I have found that if you feed the paper too quickly after a stack has gone in it will jam. You must wait until the stack completely filters through before adding another stack to shred. Also, I do not like having to turn the power on every time you want to use it.     • Loud and frustrating
I needed to replace my previous paper shredder that I had for several years. I researched and chose this paper shredder due to its size and reviews. I wanted a shredder that had a large bin and that’s about the only way this shredder succeeded. It stated it was quiet and that is an outright lie as it’s extremely loud. My last shredder was MUCH quieter. This shredder also times out and turns itself off. That’s not bad in itself but sliding paper into the shredder doesn’t activate it to turn back on like my last one. With this you have to manually push the power button to turn it on and then slide in the paper you want shredded. If you slide the paper in and then try to turn it on it will fault and not turn on until you remove the paper. The pieces of shredded paper is also about 2-3 times larger than the shreds of paper from my old shredder. Also, for some reason the shredder stops working when the shredded paper bin is half full. It will stop in mid-shred and I have to pull out the bin, shake it a little and push it back in. Then I have to turn it back on, verify the report is gone and then struggle to get the half shredded paper out of the shredder in order to move forward. I have no idea why it stops and errors out when the bin is barely half full. Finally, the shredder has the same size bin as my last one but the entire unit is about 50% bigger than my old one. In every way this is a lesser product except the cost, which was twice the cost. I would not recommend this product at all. ... show more

    • It’s a beast!
Went through 25 lbs of paper in just a couple of days. Only jammed once, and I’m feeding it unopened envelopes like credit card offers. The auto feed is a little finicky, but have had good luck so far.
