I purchased this for my small office. It shreds paper. What else is there to say? It does it's job and does it well! The only thing I would change is the power button. You have to turn it on every time you want to use it. There's no "standby" mode. Other than that, no complaints!

We have had some cheaper shredders that don't last and jam up. This one was a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. It is a crosscut shredder that can take many pages at a time. Worth every penny!

The unit works great and is relatively quiet. The only issue with it is when you have to remove the shredder bag. There are prongs sticking out that catch and rip the shredder bag. I know, do use a shredder bag, but that's not the point. My intent was to use the shredder bag to capture the cut paper and easily dispose of it. Unfortunately, it's not that easy. So, only 4 stars! At first I was a little doubtful about the product because it’s not a common known brand. I did however decided to give it a try and I am very pleased with this shredder. It works even better than those well known brands. The box came a little broken on the bottom sides because of the handling I assume but the product did not have any scratches nor was it damaged. Why are people giving this shedder a good review???? First of all, it shreds 12 sheets at best at a time, not the 18 advertised. Additionally, if you look at the photo of the bin, it shows it full to the top, claimed 7.9 gallon capacity. This is false advertising because the back of the bin is 3 inches shorter than the front, and the shedder stops working when it reaches that line. Speaking of that, you have to stop using the shredder every minute or two to push down the waste paper. Then you have to turn on the shedder again and push the forward button. That is a major nuisance. Finally, the shedding speed is annoyingly slow. My 30 year old shedder outperforms this one on all levels. ... show more
