I really like the size of the numbers and how easy it is to turn them, It is not a really sturdy lock, but I knew that when purchasing (if someone wants to get in they will) they lost 1 star because the instructions to set the combination are in such fine print I could not read them and had to get someone to set it for me, instructions need to be senor friendly ... show more

I bought these locks, not for security but for a riddle game that required customizable locks that I could set the codes on. I can't speak to their durability but they were easy to customize and definitely feel sturdy with an all-metal body.

I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! Not sure what I expected in a simple lock but this was heavier and more durable than I expected. Looks exactly like the picture. Instructions out of the box worked well for resetting the code and it fits the locker perfectly. I purchased green because I wanted it to stand out from all the silver locks at the gym. One thing that is slightly annoying is that you can't "lock" it without it being set to your unlock code though I will admit I haven't purchased a combo lock in some time and this may be standard. In any event, it's not a huge deal and the lock is perfect for what I need it for. I'd purchase this again without a second thought. ... show more

Okay, first let me say this lock looks very nice. I choose the blue color and I am very pleased. Now on to the stuff that really matters. The lock was really easy to setup and get going. Took me less than 2 minutes to set my own combination. The lock looks and feels very secure and well made! Definitely worth the money if you ask me. You can probably find a cheaper lock, but trust me, from experience I can tell you those locks are not worth the trouble. I had a cheap combination lock that refused to open anymore after only about two months of using it, I should have known because the first day of using it, it was already sticking and was hard to open. This lock is different. It opens smoothly when the correct combination is set. I have peace of mind knowing my personal items are secured. Last but not least - I want to say the customer service is awesome. They reached out to me and made sure I recieved my lock, that I was happy and that everything was as I had expected - which it was!
