I've installed car audio and remote starts for years. Usually a Metra person, I picked this up to give it a shot since the steering controls where included in the pack. Install was fast and simple and the steering controls worked with out issue. If I need another interface PAC will be the only thing I get. I used this on my 2003 Chevy Avalanche, have not had any issues since the install. VERY SOLID PRODUCT. After soldering all the wires, the harness worked perfectly. Used in a 2006 Escalade to replace the factory navigation head unit with an Android 13 head unit. I did need help at one point due to subwoofer support. The tech walked me through checking all of them EQ settings to fix my problem. Back in July of 2018, I bought, via Amazon Prime, the PAC-GM 11 Auto Stereo steering wheel control (SWC) interface. This was for a Boss BVCP9675A going in a '04 Chevy Avalanche with the Bose system. This was my first installation of a SWC interface, but I have done approximately 10 stereo installs spread over my 62 years. Initially, everything worked great with the SWC controlling the Boss' volume and tracks. However, within 30 days of the install, the left front speaker began to cut out for long periods. Since I took extra care during the install and soldered all connections, this was surprising! Due to other priorities, I postponed troubleshooting until almost a year later. When I finally went in, I eventually discovered (by squeezing the PAC unit) that the speaker short was internal! So I contacted PAC/AAMP, explained my issue, and was pleasantly surprised at how good their customer service is. After I verified my Amazon Prime purchase, I was given a return authorization for a new warranty replacement unit. It cost $10 to return via USPS. The first warranty replacement took care of the speaker problem, however this unit's SWC would NOT interface with the Boss like their first unit did!? So it was back to the tech guys at AAMP/PAC who authorized a 2nd warranty replacement. This one was pre-programmed and install was a breeze with everything working as it should for about a month now. So, although there were some issues with this particular unit's hardware, it was VERY refreshing to find AAMP stands behind their products and provides exceptional customer service!" ... show more

    • Great harness, except for the chimebox.

Put this into an 06 Trailblazer LT with the amplified Bose audio system and Steering Wheel Controls. I wired it up in the house and then installed it. Install was fairly easy once I actually got to the stock radio (have to take apart a lot of the dash, was quite a pain in the ass.) Steering wheel Controls worked perfectly even with controlling my phone via Bluetooth connected to the radio. I never use OnStar and haven't tried it or the rear Controls either but I am quite satisfied with this unit. There are two minor issues that keep me from giving it 5 stars. The instructions were not that great, I had to look up a youtube video to figure out where one set of wires plugged into the box. But the real reason it didn't get 5 stars is the damn chime box. I don't know why PAC Audio decided to go this route when they could've just sent it through the speakers. The chime box sounds pretty awful. Pros: - Relatively easy to set up, even if you're not a tech savvy person. - Retains all the features of your vehicle. Cons: - Instructions could be better - Chime box is annoying and doesn't work that well. Should've routed through the speakers. My gear. Sony BT3900U radio (until I get a touch screen) and the PAC RP-GM11 in an 06 Chevy Trailblazer LT. ... show more

Worked perfectly paired with the Sony XAVAX1000 in a C6 Corvette. Received the newest version of the PAC module (black box with blue accent *see review photo*) instead of old PAC module (Blue box) which I originally thought i was going to get. Not a bad thing and I’m not complaining, was a great surprise. Pros - Closest I’ve gotten to plug and play, only a few wires to solder (can be crimped) and Bobs your uncle. - Diagrams for wire connections are available and guide on how to find those is included. - Paired with the Sony XAVAX1000, sound quality is excellent, no crackling, popping, electric noise etc. Con - Radio receiver antenna did not fit the new radio BUT I already had the correct size from a previous upgrade. Check the sizes and lengths you will need on that antenna (as if anyone upgrades their radio to actually use the “radio” and not AppleCarPlay, AndroidAuto, Bluetooth etc….) ... show more
