This covered chair is excellent. It folds down completely to a cylinder shape. It is heavy but that is to be expected because of the additional weight of the adjustable awning. It is expensive but worth it because the chair is easy to carry, is sturdy, and provides complete shade.

Update: the company promptly reached out to me to replace the chair I purchased. Based on that I changed the rating I had given them. I appreciate that they care and want customers to be satisfied! They also let me know that they changed the design on the shade so it will attach on both sides because of customer feedback. I’m impressed. Previous: This is a heavy, sturdy, roomy chair. However the quality is poor. I initially looked at this chair when I purchased it but only used it for the first time while camping last week. The first time I set it up for use, I noticed that each arm piece had a hole in it. The hole was on the bottom side of the arms where a screw had been attached. On each side, the material had a hole where it would have been attached to the chair with the screw. I felt the umbrella/shade part was poorly designed when not in use. One side had a strap to secure the shade from flying around but the other didn’t, so the shade piece flopped a bit in the wind. By the end of this first day, one arm seam had raveled apart about one inch. I was the only one who used the chair and it had about 4 hours of use. So although the material is heavy duty, it was poorly constructed and the material is thick enough that I don’t see how I could repair it. ... show more
