Works great easy to use

    • Good stove for camping
I have used this several times now since purchasing. I have a tee pee style hot tent. You can sit in the tent on a very cold night and still be very warm. Almost to warm at times because of the heat it can put out. I have another stove, it's a bit smaller. This one is about 5" longer. It works really well, can't have wood to close to the door or top plate when first lighting up cuz it might leak smoke. But it does quit when a good fire is going. The glass will soot up. But after a good fire is going it eventually burns off. I've had the sides glowing red from how hot it was with minimal warpage. I did install a damper to control the fire more. It does work with the front draft vents, but combined with the damper it's perfect. I get about 90 mins in a full load going before adding. Depending on type of wood. It's easy to clean once it cooled down. Nice having the ash pan too so you can dump ashes when needed if still burning. Overall im happy with the purchase. I live in the country so I have my tent set up on my property so I can go hang out on weekends and just enjoy. ... show more

We just have 4 stars since my husband has not been able to use it yet. Him & our so did throw some wood in it last night to get it broke in for camping. He really likes the look of the stove and says it good quality. Now to plan a camping adventure with our son to try out his new hot tent & stove.
