  • The best miniature wood stove.
This was a game changer for me. I love this stove. It’s more of a fireplace than a stove. I love that the size creates a wonderful fire to sit around! Cooking is easy as it is easy to regulate the heat. Set up is simple and easy. Clean up is easy. It’s heavy. If you are a gram-weenie this isn’t the stove for you. ... show more

  • Excellent Quality and Good Value for your Money
The Bushbox XL is an excellent mini stove that burns bio fuels like twigs & branches. It is well designed and constructed so that it easily converts from folded to upright/open and ready to use. The material is steel, so it has some weight to it compared to some of the other mini backpacking stoves. I like the Bushbox XL both to cook or boil water on and as a small stove to keep warm by. It lies easily at the bottom of my pack & if I'm in the outdoors, its with me. I highly recommend the Bushbox XL for any outdoor enthusiast, and the price it's being sold for by this vendor is the best price I've found after pricing them for 6 months. ... show more

  • Love this Bushbox!!
Awesome, awesome, awesome! The BEST bushbox EVER 🔥 for quick, easy and effective use. Love the side opening to add sticks into, so I don’t have to keep lifting up the frying pan to add more fuel. Love the fact that it doesn’t have a bunch of extra parts needed (they can easy get lost in the dirt), just two trivets! Sturdy and STRONG! I highly recommend, I have one in my emergency pack, my fishing kayak and my backpack. ... show more

  • Life Time Stove!!!! Great product
I've been shopping for a wood stoves for months looking at you tube and watching the different stoves. I went with the bushcraft xl. I must say its the ultimate stove, the engineering of this stove is the wow factor. I believe it's a life time product. It's a bit on the heavy side compared to other stoves. I'm not a long range hiker so really that's not a issue for me. I ordered the case and grill also, and it's the topping on the cake. It's a bit pricey, but you usually get what you pay for. I highly recommend the bushcraft XL, great, great, great stove. ... show more

  • Not a Firebox by any stretch
I used the Firebox stove numerous times before getting the Bushbox XL, and really thought it would beat the Firebox due to it's larger feeding port - but that didn't happen. The Bushbox is apparently made of lighter materials as I noticed some warpage and bending of the metal after each use, and I always let it cool down after use, and never used water to cool it down. The Firebox stove, on the other hand, is built like a tank, has never warped or bent, and is a far better product IMHO. ... show more

  • Nice stove, improperly designed carrying case
Slightly heavy but well-designed wood stove, good for extended winter hiking and camping trips. If you're carrying this in your pack, however, you'll want to make or find a better carrying bag than the supplied cotton sack - the stove sticks out of the top of the carry case, creating a bit of a mess. Not sure how such a well designed product got out the door with this flaw, but you might want to purchase a stuff sack for it. It looks like this company "coincidentally" sells a separate sack that fits properly, but I'm not giving them more money for it just on principle.Wrap it in a towel and call it a day. ... show more

Simply a great stove. No need to carry (or worry about running out of) fuel. It is a little heavy. Si if your one of those wimps who doesn't want their pack to weigh more than 20 pounds, then this is probably not for you. That having been said, if you like to live in the forrest while camping, rather than just be a tourist, then this is the stove for you. ... show more

  • It is very sturdy doesn't have any wobble at all
A bit heavy but well worth the trade off for the size. It is very comparable to the firebox stove. I purchased the XL carrying case for it along with the XL grill plate both not included in this purchase. It does come with a draw string bag to put it in. It is very sturdy doesn't have any wobble at all. Very good product for the money spent. ... show more
