These are 5 star pillows!!! Highly recommend!!!! After they were fluffed and recuperated from their condensed packing, they were very “plump” and firm. Too firm for us, so I removed some of the stuffing as recommended until they were just right! And the leftover stuffing was put into another zippered pillowcase to make a third pillow. One side definitely feels cooler, but it doesn't seem to stay cool for long when you are sleeping on it. It does feel nice when you first lay your head on it. When I first got the pillow it was way too full and uncomfortable for me, but just like they advertised, it's very easy to unzip both covers and pull out some of the foam. I was ble to adjust it to where it was just right. I am happy with this purchase. 0n a side note, I was afraid that when I opened up the pillow I might find that the foam didn't look very nice but that was not the case. I ended up returning the $100+ pillow I bought from a luxury brand in favor of this one. It’s perfectly firm yet cushy and extremely supportive. One of the pillows in the pack ended up fluffing up and being firmer than the other, but I don’t mind since I use the second as a body pillow. The pillows also had a slight smell when I first opened the package, but after letting them air out for 24 hours (and putting them in the fresh air for an hour) they were completely fine. I waited until I used this pillow to review since I read reviews about them. I actually like these pillows. I need a very firm pillow. I was not sure about these when I opened them since they are flat. The directions tell you how to fluff and massage them so that they fill out. I waited 24 hours and the pillow was full and firm. I slept comfortably on it and it did not flatten. There was no odor to the ones that I received and I am sensitive to odors. So far these have been good and I sleep all night. ... show more

These pillows had a strong smell when they arrived and it stayed for several weeks after opening the shrink wrap. This was enough to want to return them but I decided to stick with it because I didn’t want the hassle of sending them back and finding something else. Aside from that, they are pretty good. I have bad neck and back pain from sleeping on my side and needed better pillows. I don’t love the side sleeper pillows because I can’t get used to the odd shapes. One of my pillows is more dense than the other which is annoying. It’s decently noticeable so I can really only use one. I do like the thickness, though, and it feels supportive without being too full and straining my neck. Best ever. Just like the pillows in luxury hotels. I look forward to laying my head down on these soft and supportive puff clouds. I’m serious; you won’t regret the purchase.
