  • Great Value - could change your life!
I will begin with the headaches I had getting this up and running, then review the product. I was promised delivery within a specific time-frame, and Amazon (or their contractor) let me down, and had to reschedule for 2 days later. I was disappointed, BUT, when the product finally arrived, delivery was well-organized, and they placed the product exactly where I wanted it. Next headache: The machine appeared to be dead-on-arrival. After assembly, it would not power up. Now, assembly couldn't be easier - raise the arms and install a few screws, then install the large (but light) top piece, where the controls are located. During this process, you have but one job to do besides placing the head unit on top, and that is to connect a small "umbilical" cord to connect the controller to the motor unit. I did this (no-brainer), completed assembly, and, BOOM! No go. I decided that I must have done something wrong, but it could have been only one thing - that umbilical. So, I disassembled that section to make sure the connection was solid. In doing so, I noted that the OTHER end of the cable SHOULD have been connected at the bottom of the arm at the factory. But, no. I simply made THAT connection, reassembled, and was up and running. Some guy at the factory just forgot to plug that in. Oh, well. NOW, the treadmill itself: It's sturdy, runs very smoothly (I walk/run barefooted) and the controls are easy to understand and use. The incline feature works very well, and it's impressive to have a product in this price-range operate so smoothly and quietly. It's adequately sturdy (and I'm a BIG guy), and feels really great to use. Other than the assembly glitch I experienced, setup was a snap for an able-bodied 66 year-old. I have not yet mastered the feature where you can Bluetooth your device to it to enjoy the whole immersive video thing, but that's not truly important at this time. For the price I paid, and despite a couple of minor problems I encountered, this machine is a great value, and I believe it may, indeed, save my life, as I am old, overweight and need to get off my a__ and move. This treadmill should do nicely. A few details: 1. No, there is no built-in fan. Funny, but it looks like there's a space where it might be, but, perhaps on the higher-end model. 2. The built-in speakers are small and cheesy. But, they WOULD be. If you're looking for hi-fi sound, don't buy a treadmill to get it! <GRIN> 3. Having accessed numerous commercial treadmills, I have to say that the OMA runs smoother than any of them. Maybe it's just that 716 people haven't abused mine... I highly recommend the OMA 5925CAI Treadmill. ... show more

  • Solid machine! OMA 5925
I bought the OMA 5925 and this thing is a beast. I'll say a little about the weight, but please don't let that be your main factor if you are able to get some help with getting it inside your location. It is very heavy, and you'll need handtrucks or a few very strong men to get it in your house. My son helped me get it inside through the french doors on the backside of my house. We opened the box outside and brought the pieces in one at a time. Getting it upstairs another level would be very difficult. The base/walking area is very heavy, but once you sit it where you want it, the rest is easy. It only takes about 15-20 screws and I was able to do that myself. The directions are pretty easy. The long Allen screws attach the lower pars of the real tonthe side of the base from the sides and the rest of the machine uses the shorter Allen screws. The tiny screws are for a basket that attaches to the back of the main screen. You may decide you don't need that. Make sure you have attached the qhick disconnect cables that run down to the machine between the base and the console. I had to remove a bread tie that had attached for shipping. I just received this last night and have only used it one time. It satisfies me, but I only did a basic walk, and will do that a few weeks until I get myself into a condition where I'll actually push myself harder. The console is very basic, but I bought it so that I can pair it with my tablet and use Zwift in order to make it more "realistic." You may not want to use an app, but if you don't, you'll have a very basic screen. ... show more

  • worse treadmill I've ever used , returning
Its not 15 incline. Its more like 12. The belt goes into free-wheel when elevated. As in, I want to walk at 1 MPH, but the belt will let me go as fast as I want, or faster than I want. I hit the red stop button and nothing happens, keeps on going... I've never used such a poor treadmill. Its herky Jerky and I have to keep both hands on the wheel to keep my balance. The base (belt area) inclines but the handle bars do not raise. So once your elevated, you might not reach down far enough to grab the side rails if you have short arms. The instructions are in English but they are poorly translated, hard to understand. ... show more

  • Great Product, shipping took long time
The treadmill is working great! Easy set up, I did it by myself. Took a little while just because of the weight of the machine but if you are able to lift 50-75 pounds, you can do it on your own. You just have to take time to move one end at a time to get it in place. Not much to the instruction manual for set up or for running the machine but I have used a treadmill previously so I easily figured things out. The shipping was set up for an evening and they called that day and said they couldn’t deliver it. The next time they would be back in my area was in a week. Very disappointed as I had already waited 2 weeks. If they were in the area already they could have offered an earlier time on the day it was supposed to be delivered. The buttons are great but in my head the + and - for the speed are switched around. To go faster is on the left and to slow down on the right. Will take some getting used to. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Glad I was able to find it on Prime Day and get a great discount!! ... show more
