The media could not be loaded. This thing gets up and GOES! My husband’s scooter goes about 4mph faster, but mine definitely accelerates much quicker and feels more powerful- I can fly up hills, cross roads in a second, and I even outran a dog chasing me lol!! I’m only 120lbs & 5’1, but I can definitely feel the difference in power from when I ride my husband’s GYROOR scooter. The only downfall is the back tire/brake system? You have to brake slowly and gradually, or else the back tire just freezes up and you start fishtailing. So I may replace the solid honeycomb tire in the back with a regular rubber one. I’m hoping that will help the brakes grip better as well. The scooter also has a safety feature, which I rather it didn’t. Once you go past 15mph, it brakes on you HARD and the headlight even turns off until you slow down… like the whole scooter shuts off for a second or two and you better hope you’re bracing yourself. Overall, this is such a fun scooter and looks really cool though! I’m glad I chose this one :) I’ve become addicted to riding it and take it out for a morning spin almost every day! ... show more

Extremely well made scooter I purchased two of them for my boys and once they got them I had to try it. I ended up ordering one more for myself. Amazing ride easy to assemble and the battery last a long time. We get so many compliments on them We love them so much,fun and high quality scooter.

The media could not be loaded. What a NIGHTMARE! Bought 2 of these for my teen TWINS to get to work and school in Feb '22. Returned one immediately due to a defective button the lock the scooter in the folded position. Took over a month because we needed to schedule a pickup from FedEx Ground due to the lithium battery handling. Was going well for the following 3 months, then our water heater broke, flooded the garage and the boxes. Had to throw them out. Month 6, both scooters have issues and are defective. 1 won't stay on, giving the E3 error and no longer runs. The other one has a power button stuck under the handlebar. Took 2 months to get a response from Okai, only to redirect me to Amazon Okai support. 1 month later and tons of emails later, FINALLY got return labels... NO BOXES. Last week, found a box that we could ship both in. FedEx picked up after the 2nd attempt due to the ice storm. Dropped it back off 2 days ago with no explanation. No knock at the door. In the rain in front of my garage. Now I see that it dropped $150 in price and the "newer" model addresses these issues. UPDATE: we're getting our replacements and able to ship back the scooters. Thank you Because I bought 2, I get 2 leave 2 reviews! Update #2: 1 week later Setup our new replacement scooters and both will not turn on or charge. Double checked the handlebar connections Green light on charger No charging lights Charged for 24 hours but will not turn on with the key card or button Unbelievable. Waiting for support to get back to me. Am excited to see a phone number to contact them now and not just via email. Too bad only open on weekdays. Needs a manual/instructions for both the front and rear tires as this has sat for months due to not being able to remove the front tire/tube to change.

    • Decent scooter, defective and getting runaround from Okai
We purchased the scooter and had an issue shortly after where the front tire was always deflated due to the way it was installed. After waiting for a replacement tire Okai eventually sent a new scooter and we returned the old one. My daughter mainly uses this to get to and from school so since we have been on summer break have not had much interaction with the scooter. Upon getting our school supplies and everything ready for school to start in a week we took a look at the scooter and noticed the new front tire is completely deflated and will not hold air. I've tried Lime's shared e-scooter before, so naturally I compared the two products on first use. If you used Lime before, I think this one is better. the OKAI scooter is trivial to set up (only took me 5m). The ride is mostly stable once you get used to it. I don't race beyond 8MPH. It has a NFC card lock, and an optional app for monitoring and tracking. I plan to leave it in my car trunk and it's handy whenever I need to walk out of office for short-haul errands. ... show more

    • Great basic personaly mobility scooter
We moved to an area of walkability, but some places are a bit far so this scooter is perfect. It goes 15mph as expected and rides just like a solid, well-built but basic scooter. I bought two. Acceleration is not too sporty but it's got enough get-up and go. The headlight is okay but I plan on getting a bicycle headlight if I can ever find one that fits the really thick handlebar. The tail light is so low to the ground - a scooter problem, not a Neo problem, that I doubt anybody sees it when they get close. My goodness is the manual abysmal. Pretty much nothing is explained. You need to check the tire pressure and make sure it's "safe" but they don't tell you what the recommended pressure is. The app is okay. The supplied mini credit-card-like key is great but the manual says nothing of the locking features anywhere. I am still trying to figure out if the plastic key auto-locks the scooter or if I have to do it via app. Bluetooth connection to the phone is a bit slow, using the plastic NFC key is the way to go. I bought a u-lock to secure the things to something when walking away since everybody's got an F150 around here. The front tire's valve is hidden in the plastic shroud, so it's impossible to pump air. The supplied valve extender lets all the air out, so get yourself a valve extender that has a one-way valve (they pretty much all do, just not what's supplied with the scooter). Not a mature product, but a good effort. We like the things. I am hoping for firmware and phone app updates and most of all: a manual! ... show more
