  • Very Helpful Customer Support
When I first received this printer, it printed very nicely, and everything was well. However, I started running into minor issues with printing quality and operation. After unsuccessfully trying to fix the problem on my own, I contacted the official customer support, which was of little use. However, the customer service of the seller, Sainsmart, was superb. Their customer support agent was very helpful, and maintained a correspondence with us for more than a month, providing ways to troubleshoot our issues. He was very receptive to our problems, and would try to find solutions to that. When all efforts failed in fixing the printer, the company offered to send in a new replacement printer. Overall, we are very happy with the customer service of the company, and would reccomend this seller for anybody who wants to have a resource to call for help ... show more

  • Nice start equipment
Creality Ender has so many videos and material online that makes it perfect for beginners. I had questions about how to change the filament, different setups option, slicer software. I could find everything I needed. It comes almost ready to use just needed to install Z axle fixtures and some accessories. Took maybe 10 minutes, not more than that. Mine came with Z axle screws lose, it was creating irregularities on the print quality, took me a week to find the issue. Also, one of the calibration sensor screws was missing. Vendor was very helpful and sent a replacement quickly. ... show more

  • What a disappointment
The media could not be loaded. This was my 1st 3d printer and it seemed a pretty good deal to start with. Things went well for few prints and then it started malfunctioning. The first problem was the bed leveling. It wouldn’t stay calibrated to a point that during the first layer the nozzle went so low that carved in to the hot plate. After dealing with that, the second issues was the first layer not adhering correctly, more than likely, due to the scratches on the base. And at last, the printer actually died. The control panel is on but not responding. I am an IT and I am use to what we call OBF (Out of Box Failure). However the most disappointing thing is the customer service. Not existing at all. Amazon referred me directly to Creality. I sent them an email and the 1st response was almost immediate asking for video proof of the issues. After sending the requested documentation I never received a response back. The printer is cheap and, it’s true, you get what you pay for. And in this case very unreliable product and bad customer service. ... show more

  • Nice machine, once you get accustomed to it...
First, support is an absolute joke with this company. They're sorry for everything, and offer little to no solution. You're on your own, for the most part. So, listen up. If you're looking to get into 3d printing. This machine will require patience, understanding, and the ability to figure out things either on your own, or with the help of others. And believe me, the 3d community is the actual customer support that rocks! I've gone from no experience with a 3d printer (this is my first printer), to being a well versed 3d printer in mere months with the help from the 3d printing community! Out of the box, learn about manual leveling, the auto leveling, and the Z offset (trust me on that last part, you're gonna learn about it sooner or later, promise). After that, you're gonna print the boat (cause everyone prints the boat). And from there, its off to the races with you. You'll deal with issues like stringing, bad prints, adhesion (that's one of the difficult ones to learn on the fly with). But don't get frustrated. This is all an education that will continue the entire time you're 3d printing stuff. Also, pay close attention to various leveling types. PLA, you can use a piece of stock paper. PETG, a business card. Trust me on this, leveling is a huge factor. So learn as much as you can about it. I use a feeler gauge for the various filament options. After you burn through a bunch of PLA filament (cause that's the easiest stuff to print). You're gonna want to move on to bigger and better things. Don't blame ya, that's why you bought this pricy machine. So, what filament next? Oh, wait, hold on a second. Before you go jumping right into carbon fiber or any other type of "abrasive" type filament. You might wanna check that nozzle. While you're at it, might wanna check the various upgrades available. Like the direct drive extruder (which allows you to comfortably get into the temp ranges of those real awesome filaments). And the sonic pad that gets you to dial in prints like a pro. Hardened steel nozzles (and not just 4mm, look at 6mm too) Yeah, pricy upgrades, but do you want a printing tool, or a printing monster? Just remember, as you work up the filament food chain, you're gonna have to (sooner or later) upgrade some parts on the printer. Print, join places like Prusa, Thingverse, Cults, and the bevy of awesome 3d printing sites out there. Also I strongly suggest Tinkercad as one site you really need to look into. You're gonna find yourself with questions. You can wait a few days, or a few weeks for customer support (yeah, they are that horrible). Or you can find someone who has been there, done that, and can help you out in a much faster fashion than Creality support. I'm happy with the Neo Max. Not happy with the company or it's lack of support. But its all good. When this one dies, I know now to look more in depth as to whom I buy my next machine from. ... show more

  • working good now
this is my second, the first was returned, I kept getting errors. The second is working great. If you are new to 3d printing, the booklet isnt really clear on some things. once you figure out how to do the first leveling. Then let the machine do it there after is a great start. Next print head , they say set it at .9 ( i think they said) well, thats right BUT you do NOT set the numbers at .9 You must move the head to the table and then using a piece of paper get the correct number. Mine is -1.87 . Once you learn how tto do it, it becomes second nature . Ive printed about 5 things so far and every piece is excellent . Better than many of the much more expensive printers. would I buy it again??? YES... While waiting for it to get to you, download CURA , you'll have to learn how to slice the items you want to print. ( very easy to do. load the file, hit slice and thats it ) ... show more

  • Awesome customer service from seller
So I just purchased this Ender 3 max Neo and when received, it was packaged very well. I had it together up and running in 20 min and had an outstanding first print but after that it failed to home! Now this is why I’m giving five stars! I contacted the seller and advised him of the issue he immediately responded and helped me troubleshoot the problem and helped me replace some parts but at the end of a few days it wouldn’t work! Many sellers will take your mo why and owe you nothing more which is true but I could tell by the seller that he is committed to his customers satisfaction! Things brake and are defective all the time but customer service is what will influence the outcome the most! 5⭐️’s ... show more
