On a whim, i ordered this because it was on sale and i didn't like my old one. Just had to use it on someone's car. Gave me the code and actually gave description of the code ( no googling needed). Was also able to clear the code as well. Pretty happy for the price

I'm a low-tech guy, so ease of use is important. While the instructions weren't that helpful, becoming familiar with the device and its operation was relatively easy. I particularly like the "green light" indicator, which reports no trouble codes found. Considering its modest cost, I consider this device a bargain. BTW, its trouble reporting should provide some insurance against unnecessary repairs recommended by unscrupulous repair shops. ... show more
