UPDATE*** customer service reached to help fix this issue. Changing my rating rating solely based on customer service help. They were helpful in helping to remedy the situation. Product still needs better support. Very disappointed and will never buy another product from this company! Advertised that the EPB function was a reset function for my 2020 Outback. The system put the brakes into maintenance mode but no option to bring them out of maintenance mode. Now I need to go to the dealer and spend more money just to fix what this tool broke. ... show more

I used the scanner 3 times on my own car BMW X3 did work well. Now the scanner is showing the software is corrupted and there is no way to get it back running. Did read all FAQ, did proceed with install instructions as given. No suggest!!! Did write to the support, no clear instructions are coming back from them. For the moment the scanner is down... I could recreate the SD card with the files downloaded from the FOXAssist software. All with suggest, but the scanner cant read the files and report the file is corrupt! I would recommend interested buyers to search for something else to do your car diagnostic, this scanner is not reliable, the recovery instructions (PDF-files) are not clear and do not make sense at all, and do not work as described, the support refers to the PDF files. This is not worth the money and the hassle! I did try 3 days now and nothing works as it should! This was a expensive investment for 3 times scanning my car and now to be broken and left alone. ... show more

This product works well for what I need it for. Although it still wants more money to update. The product description says free lifetime update but when you register they want 95$. So for this only getting 3 star rating from me.
