I have had the s22i bike since around 2018, while there were a couple issues over the years, they were quickly resolved, fast forward to 2024, decided to bite the bullet and add the x32i , WoW, absolutely love this piece of equipment , delivery and set up was a breeze, I have had it just a few weeks and have nothing bad to say about this , there may be glitches down the road, but I am sure they will be handled seamlessly as in the past ... show more

The unit is really poorly designed, both from a physical and software point of view. Physically, you absolutely need two people to assemble it. Some of the pieces are assembled in a way that you need someone holding the item from the front while someone fiddles with screws in the back. The fit of the pieces is garbage. Some of the screw threads in the receivers strip out some of the screws. The plastic panels are brittle and held into place with 2 mm tabs that are inadequate for the job. It's like they literally spared every expense. It took forever to download the software on a 150mps connection. Then the iFit membership card included in the box DIDN'T WORK. After sitting on hold for an extended amount of time, the rep came on and said that they don't use that style of authorization or card any more and that was the problem. This is a machine that arrived 3 days earlier. SHOULD the software grace you by working, it's ... ok. When it doesn't work - ours bricked itself after two weeks... yay - you have to reset the machine and redownload everything. There are no guides in the software that say what it's doing. It just has a pulsing logo. We watched the logo pulse for 20 minutes, wondering whether it was doing something or if it was hung again. Restarted two more times and it decided to boot. Yay. Then you've got to redo your iFit account info. It asks for a credit card number and if you are like, whoa, I've already paid, abort, it says "Are you sure you don't want to use the machine with WiFi and the iFit app?" My wife was finally annoyed and hit yes, after which, her account showed up. When doing an update, the software says "Close" at the bottom. But there's no info on whether that will STOP the download or if it will do it in the background while you work out. So you stare at the machine as it painfully downloads each individual bit over the course of a lifetime while feeling like you've made some really bad life choices, such as investing in a NordicTrack treadmill instead of any number of clearly superior options. At this point, I’ve spent more time trying to fix this machine and work with iFit customer support than I’ve been able to run on the treadmill. I'm also well over a thousand dollars into repairs and the same issue is happening. No one at NordicTrack seems to know how to resolve it. The treadmill stops randomly and I’ve been unable to resolve the issue after replacing the motor, circuit board (twice), cables/wiring, and tread belt. I’ve paid for a Nordic Track technician to come service the machine three times. He tinkered but has been unable to resolve the issue. The last suggestion from iFit support was to pay for the same rep to come a fourth time. Eek. The x22i treadmill looks great in commercials (40 percent incline, huge screen, sturdy build, etc) but under the hood, the internal components are cheaply made and the display has some serious flaws (low resolution, old/slow wifi chip, programs glitchy and often crash mid workout). With a quick Google search, you can see there have been class action lawsuits against NordicTrack treadmills for these very reasons. Instead of admitting the product has an issue, NordicTrack support tries to hide behind cut/paste customer response emails and put the blame on the owner. The worst part is that I want to give this treadmill five stars, but my X22i has gone from a headache to a nightmare to a complete financial loss. ... show more

We have had nothing but issues with this machine and it will be the last Nordictrack product we ever buy. The machine was shipped to us with major damage that we could not see until after the assembly. Due to poor packaging, the treadmill belt and track deck had large gouges. There was also an issue with the motor control board not working. We immediately needed the parts replaced and repaired before even using the machine and it took months for the parts to arrive. The control board is an ongoing problem. Every 6 to 9 months the control board stops working, I have to wait a month for a replacement, and then do the replacement myself because Nordictrack won't do the repair. I'm getting pretty good at it. I wish I could just be rid of this thing. It doesn't work for 70% of the year and dealing with Nordictrack had been awful. ... show more

I was getting board with my Peloton after 7 years and my wife doesn't like bikes so we purchased the x32i and had it professionally assembled. I have had zero problems in 4 months and I'm using it way more often than I thought I would. I love the variety of the ifit workouts. I can do jogging intervals on the beach in Thailand one day and an incline hike up an Alaskan Mountain the next. I can also repeat manual workouts I've already created if I want to watch tv instead of doing an ifit class. I just purchased the 27i bike since it uses my same ifit membership for no additional cost. ... show more

I have had 4 of these machines. Every single one got a cracked frame. They replaced the first 3 but now the current unit I have just cracked along with the rear roller and they said because it was a replacement the warranty was only 90 days. They used to have a lifetime guarantee on the frame. They've now reduced the frame warranty to 10 years. It should not matter is the unit was purchased new or replaced because of the same issue. They should be covering my machine. Do your research and look online also as I've seen this is a common problem with their equipment. Very frustrating after all these years they haven't tried to redesign this machine as they know it is an issue. ... show more
