I used Rubbing alcohol and it worked Well. The wood grain is really pretty. I expected it to look worse than the picture but really it was just like what I saw on here. The cement portion had a line that I thought was a crack but it was just a raised line of cement from mold process and easily sanded down or ignored. keep out of rain if Kept outside to keep the wood portion from splitting. The flame can be Very bright to look at but that might be due to the 91% rubbing alcohol. ... show more

Love it but feel the flame is very high and only put small amount of alcohol into chamber. Be safe and use with caution. No customer service number as advertised. Not sure about safety of product.

This is a great tabletop fire pit for a small area. I haven't used it outdoors yet, but I feel it will be perfect for my deck. The stone was heavy and beautiful, perfect size, fits on any table top or rail top, adds amazing ambiance to our home. Easy to use, used 70% isopropyl alcohol and it puts out great heat, just use the lid over the fire and it puts the fire out. We set it up this weekend at a small gathering and was a fun evening of making smore indoors! Makes a wonderful gift idea as my friends all want one. ... show more

This little fire pit is so cool!! Quality is really nice, stone is heavy giving it a luxurious vibe. I was impressed at how powerful the fire was with just a little bit of alcohol, and the flame stayed lit until I put it out. It does not get more simple, add alcohol, light and voila! I received this as a birthday gift and upon opening it, the fire flame extinguisher was missing. The box had no signs of being tampered with before I opened it.
