  • Bright Light
I really like this light. It is very bright and has several modes you can toggle in order to get the effect you want. It is compact and easily slides onto the back of my seat pouch. I really like the fact that it has a small catch on the inside of the attachment slide to prevent it from getting bounced off. Not many lights have this, and I have lost a few because of going over rough terrain. It also comes with an elastic band to attach to your seat post. A single charge only lasts about 3 hours so if you need longer time, get a light with a bigger battery ... show more

  • The best light projection
The product is well made and easy re- charging with great visability at a long distance… even during daylight

  • Very bright, hard to use if you have a trunk bag on your bike.
The mount is intended for seatposts or seat tubes. Neither of which is good for my 54cm commuter with a trunk bag and fenders. I made a bracket from a reflector mount and bolted it to the back of my Blackburn rack which works. The light is made for sport bikes or big frame bikes. There should be a clip for attaching to your bag. That being said, it's stunningly bright, easy to use and stays attached to its clip (important). The monting thing is a problem with many taillights. The battery life is good. ... show more

  • for my m/c
i met a motorcyclist that was rear ended at a red light. i started looking into what i could do to add rear lighting. i hook this onto my jacket facing to the rear. it is bright and stands out. i also added a helmet light. you can't be too safe.

  • Do Not Buy this light!!
I bought a Solas 250 USB based on the brightness rating. It is in fact bright. But they use a cheap multi-function switch on these so that you have several modes. The switch never worked right on the first light. I figured I was just lucky enough to get a faulty light. So, I bought another one. That switch is also defective. This morning it took me about 3 minutes to get the thing turned on. After 5 minutes of trying, it never did turn off. It's flashing in the garbage can right now. Do not spend the money on this light. There are many others that are reliable. This one is not reliable! ... show more

  • This is a great light
I have been using NiteRider lights for over 28 years and they have all been cutting edge technology. I have seen some complaints on the light coming off during a ride, I can see how the clamp could be installed upside down and then not allow the light to lock into the mount. Look at the mount and light carefully before you install and make sure it is right side up, if so the light will not come out unless it hits something like a tree branch. All bets are off it you run into a branch as any light will likely come off, ... show more

  • Great light!
This light it very bright. Since the batty life is only 4.5 hour on bright flash it may not be the best choice for century rides. I would buy it again!

  • battery does not last long enough
The thing that I love about this tail light is that it has a blinking pattern where every third blink is very bright. It really grabs peoples attention. The downside is that the battery life is relatively poor. I can only get a few hours of riding in before it has to be recharged. None of the other lights I have provide such poor battery life. Having said that, when I lost the first one I purchased another. I just love that bright three blink pattern and I generally only ride for 30-60 minutes a day, so the short battery life is not a serious issue for me. ... show more
