Bike lights don't last forever so I picked this one after a little research. I think this light was a good choice after a couple weeks of use. I bike commute and for price versus quality this has been my favorite tail light for a few reasons. It is compact, bright, waterproof, & the battery lasts. It mounts well to my bike saddle and the light itself screws into the the mount apposed to clipping in like the tail lights I've had in the past wich could slip out. This tail light won't slip out of the mount and the motion detection works well and it lights up when you slow down simular to a car brake wich i think is cool. I like this light and am glad a brought it. ... show more

So, I love this light for some very specific reasons: 1) the build quality seems very good - aluminum body and bracket; 2) big enough to give out enough lumens and multi-mode lighting; 3) rechargeable battery; 4) most importantly - which is why I bought it - I wanted something that I could semi-permanently screw/mount to my bike rack so I didn't have to worry about losing it, having to take it on/off and it would be there whenever I needed it. I was about to purchase the Blue Lug KOMA from another online retailer (I had waited 3 months for it to come back in stock) but it is smaller, less bright, less lighting modes and a lot more money - $50 with shipping! After looking around I found this light and thought - hoped - that I could retro fit it to bolt to my rack and it worked great. I had to remove the mounting braket with two tiny screws....BUT that wasn't easy - they are small, easy to strip, and they were probably lock-tited on there....but I got them out and the bracket off. If I hadn't been able to get them out, I would have just had to use it like any other strap-mounted light - which would have been fine, but not why I chose this particular light. Then all I had to do was to drill a small hole through the aluminum mounting base, and attach it to the rack - which is why I bought this light - the METAL base - so I could drill through it and not deal with any plastic crap mounted light. Did it void any warranty? Probably yup. Do I care? Nope - it is mounted exactly where I want and how I needed it, at a fraction of the cost of the KOMA. I will probably buy one or two more to put on my other bikes. I can't speak to the long-term durability, battery life or anything else (other people have already reviewed that), but for the price and my specific needs, this is a 6-star buy. The light mounted under the seat, easily, and functions as described. Be sure to use the 3rd or 4th light ingoptions, if you're riding in bright daylight and want the light to remain on. Liked that it was easy to install on the post and that the battery lasts a long time. Also liked the automatic on/off feature and the break sensing. Disliked that the manual, like most manuals for products made in China, was difficult to understand.

I bought these lights for my road bikes, as a means to put a light on my saddle rails that could be seen over the top of my saddle bag and they work well for that. For times where I have a third bottle these come with a clip-on mount that is part of the strap assembly for mounting on the seatpost, which works well and securely for clipping onto the exterior spots of my saddlebags. Nice visibility to the various light sequences and love the braking warning for extra safety. Battery life is very good, I can get 3-4 30+ mph rides before a charge is needed. First, quality is just insane, very good, It comes with two straps, one metal and one rubber, It's a type c charger, very convenient, I can use any cable at home, it also comes with a USBC cable. Light, let me tell you about the technology built-in in this taillight, This light can differentiate between night and day. Which means it can save light if you're riding during the day and turn on automatically during the night. It has a built and sensor so when you break it illuminates like a breaking lights in a car. It turns off automatically after 30 seconds and as soon as you move it turns on again. Just incredible little light As for that durability, I haven't used it that much yet.
