I installed it using the existing holes in the brick exterior wall from the mid-80s heath zenith doorbell button it replaced. The screw spacing being the same was a convenient bonus. So far, so good. Purchased to replace a button that began to stick after years of service. Upon close examination it was apparent a slight adjustment to the design would have made it a lifelong item. This replacement switch seems a little basic but you can tell that it will not have the same issue down the line because the design is simple and functional. No frills but it's in the garage so functionality is all that mattered to me.
