    • Pros/cons list from a steamer newbie
So originally ordered bc of a recommendation from a friend. Mind you I am a 90s child and I've never once had my own steamer. That being said, this thing worked out pretty okay. Pros: - heats fast - very hot and steamy ayy - lightweight and easy to maneuver Cons: - cord could use more length - if you don't angle it right it WILL leak - the water gets used up real fast and you have to constantly refill and as someone that piles up ironing clothes till I do it all at once this is kinda annoying - if you overfill the water tank it will start leaking water EVERYWHERE. Not fun. Again, newbie to steaming and all so maybe some of this is a given but yeah I'd say for what it's worth it gets the job done ... show more

    • Not as portable and maneuverable if you aren't using it for clothes
This steamer is slick and handy. Here are the things I liked and disliked about it. - I liked that this is portable. - I liked that this is cheap ($25). - I disliked that this is specifically for vertical steaming. - I disliked that the volume for this steamer is low. This steamer is essentially an electric kettle that stays on after the water reaches boiling temperature. It does its job well in steaming and does not splash water (yet). However, the water volume is relatively low, 180mL is quite nothing so if you're doing a lot of deep cleaning, you might want to consider something with a larger volume. The cord itself is quite bulky, so although this steamer is handheld and portable, there is some limitation from the bulky cord. I was personally using this steamer for portability and getting rid of bed bugs, so I needed to be able to maneuver the steamer around easily; unfortuantely, this steamer isn't as maneuverable as it seems because it's instructed that you only perform steaming in the vertical direction. And it's advertised as something you can bring when you travel ... most hotels have irons in the room so why bring a semi-bulky (with the cord) steamer when you have access to a dedicated iron? ... show more

This steamer is effective for removing wrinkles from clothing and not very expensive. It's lightweight and heats up quickly. I find it somewhat bulky for travel, but it may be fine for some. The steam output is adequate, though it takes several passes to remove most wrinkles, and the water capacity is a bit small. For dewrinkling a few items at home this works well. The power cord is conveniently long for home use, but adds to the bulk for travel. I'm glad to have it. ... show more

This little clothes steamer is powerful. You need to be careful because it gets really hot, which is great for getting wrinkles out of clothes easier. I love how light weight it is because heavy ones hurt my wrist. The tank also seems small but again it's a plus because it is big enough to finish a big garment while also not making it heavier. It is really convenient! I used to have one of those big steamers, didn't do a great job, took a lot of space, and was heavy (even with the water tank on the floor). I also have a steam mop with an attachment for clothes but that one is also not as convenient. This little devise is easy to store, quick to heat up, and simple to use. So you need to use distilled water to avoid buildup and damaging the unit, but that's the case with all steamers I've used. This one is super simple, just pour water into the tank (not to pass the max mark) and turn on. Take a couple minutes and the water starts to boil and produce steam. The one thing I wish were better was the on/off marker, the switch has a sticker next to it that could easily fall off, not a big deal since it only does on and off. It did a great job on the few items I tried it out with. One was a sports coat, that one was super easy. Then I did a summer dress made of a linen type fabric. Finally the hardest thing I tried it with was a linen jumpsuit that was very wrinkle after washing, and even though it took more time and a few passes it did a pretty good job. So lighter fabrics do super well, and thicker more wrinkle was take a little longer. ... show more

This steamer worked really well as you can see in the pictures. It came well packaged & the instructions were easy to read. It was easy to fill and operate. It has a nice handle that was easy to grip and hold as well. I took a random shirt out of the basket that I knew would be super wrinkly to test out. You can see the before pictures were pretty rough but after only a few minutes of using the steamer all of the wrinkles were gone. It even did well around the knot area of the shirt, which I thought would be harder since it is cinched up there. Very pleased with my purchase! ... show more

    • A bit large for travel, plus no way to shut off steam
I got this especially for wrinkled shirts. The steam output is ok, taking several passes to get the wrinkles out. It does the job, which is what counts, but there are a couple of issues that knocks it down a couple of stars. The shape of the water container is round and wide, making it take up a bit of space in luggage when traveling. A flatter shape might do better. The second issue is that there’s no way to shut off the steam. With the rather small amount of water that the steamer can hold, some of the water will evaporate while in between shirts. ... show more

Great handheld steamer, very handy and easy to store. We have a larger one in our laundry room that I had been moving back and forth to my bathroom, so this saves me a lot of trouble.
