Style: Steam Pickup
This is my first vac/mop combo. I have used a steam mop for years and I am sold on the power of steam. However the pads always seem to stir up a bunch of stuff that needs vacuuming. I saw the shark 3 in 1 steam pickup on the Just a Dad channel and was impressed with the effectiveness and simplicity, not to mention the low price point. My experience it's lightweight builds up steam quickly, very effective at removing stuck on stains and picking up debris. Certainly has a limit to how much it can pick up with the relatively small collection tray, but it has made me reevaluate how important suction is vs head construction on a vacuum. This thing does not use suction but I would be hard pressed to say it doesn't pick up everything a normal vacuum would plus mopping the floor. The cons, since it doesn't suction it leaves the floor pretty wet especially if you have to work over a spot for a bit. It will pick up spills milk, water etc. but it is not going to dry out the floor a whole lot. Just leaves it clean and wet. If you want steam you are going to have a cord and I think this is an excellent choice. It certainly is nice not having to buy a bunch of proprietary solutions, just water. If you give up steam something cordless may be a little more convenient, although cleaning this thing is super quick and easy, the dirty stuff is all confined to three easy to access and sink wash components. And the cord is long and really only adds the time to plug in and wrap up. Last thought if you have a flooring type that is sensitive to heat or water ie. Some types of lvp, linoleum, or hard wood anything not sealed, you may want to be careful with this it is both hot and wet. Maybe something that vacuums and stays cold will keep your floor dryer and prevent warping or loosening glue. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Shark Steam & Scrub All-in-One and have been mostly impressed by its performance. This device is not just a steam mop; it’s an advanced cleaning tool that significantly eases the chore of maintaining floors. The steam function heats up swiftly, delivering a steady stream of steam that deeply cleans and sanitizes the floors. Additionally, the scrubbing action of the mop is gentle yet effective, effortlessly tackling dirt and leaving my floors not just clean, but impressively spotless. However, I did find the water tank a bit on the smaller side. For my 1500 sq ft home, I need to refill it at least once during the cleaning process to cover the entire area, which can be a slight inconvenience. Despite this, the floors dry quickly and feel incredibly fresh and dry to the touch after cleaning. In summary, while the tank size could be larger, the overall performance of the Shark Steam & Scrub All-in-One makes it a worthy tool for anyone seeking a powerful, easy-to-use solution for keeping their floors pristine. Love this steamer, it does a great job getting spots off the floor and I love that it just uses water, no cleaners to damage the functions. I did try on carpet to see if it steamed spots off, but its for hard floors truly. It didnt hurt anything though! I will be buying this for friends as gifts. IDEAL! ... show more

    • Works well but...
Style: Steam Pickup
I read through a lot of the reviews and decided the small amount of water it leaves behind while mopping wasn't a big deal. A lot of people report streaking - I also noticed this but found it got better the more I used the steamer. I think the streaking is residue from other cleaners. I have used this on ceramic tile, linoleum, and sealed hardwood (on the low steam setting). My linoleum is textured which usually requires me to give it a full scrub with a brush a couple times of year but this got the stuff out of the texture so that in itself will be a win. I would also recommend getting yourself some of the slip on floor dusters for your feet. This gives a few advantages - you can walk on the slightly damp floor if you need to, you can swish up the little bit of water left behind, and if you have tile like me - you can use your foot to scrub the grout lines if needed. I usually do a full scrub on those one a month in the high traffic areas but this will make that last longer. While this does vacuum, if you have a lot of pet hair or a lot of dry stuff on the floor - just vacuum or sweep it first. The "dry" chamber isn't very big and a lot of hair clogs it up. This is part of the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The other reason is the stand has somewhere to put the brush roller to dry but not the other parts. I end up just resting them against the body of the machine but it would be better if the stand was a little bigger and could hold them. ... show more

Style: Steam & Scrub w/ Steam Blaster
It's a significant upgrade from our first Shark steam pocket. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. We had the last one for years and had no issues with it, so we were expecting the same for this model from Shark. It didn't have all the attachments, but that was okay because we never used them. I was able to give the last one away as it is in excellent working condition. 4/8/25 Update I still love the S8201(I noticed in the reviews that some were talking about different models). It glides over the floor, removing any dust buildup. I like not having to press a button to release the steamed water like my first-generation one. However, this model does not have controls on the handle like the S7201. Instead, you have to reach down to change the settings. I wonder why they didn’t add that feature to the S8201. The water reservoir is small, but it was able to cover a sizeable area on my main floor and is way more efficient with that water than my steam pocket. ... show more
