I have been through A LOT of knee braces in the past two years due to a knee injury. I finally messed up my knee completely and purchased this to stabilize my knee while waiting for ACL surgery. I had it on when I was at the orthopedic surgeon's office being sized for my post-surgery brace...and the guy asked me where I purchased this one. He said he was impressed with it and said it was a pretty solid brace and would do well to protect my knee until he ordered the other one. He did give me some advice and said place the hinges a little higher up the knee when sitting down and putting it on...when I stood up it was perfectly placed and I had no issues with it sliding or moving around and the mobility felt better. The only "issue" I had...I also had a meniscus tear and sometimes all the material and compression directly on the front of my knee would cause some inflammation/pain inside the front of my knee. This is nothing negative on the brace, this was just due to my specific injury. The brace kept my knee from going out on me while walking and that was more important to me! I'm a very active person so I definitely put it to use and didn't wear it just sitting on the couch or at my desk all day. I actually bought two different sizes...when sizing, take into account if you are wearing on the skin or having to wear over leggings...I had to wear over leggings for work. I broke my femur in July 2023. After 3 weeks in a rehab facility I returned home. I found my knee to be in extreme pain when I walk. The leg long brace I was sent home with was too difficult for everyday walking so I purchased the Neenca Knew Brace. My gosh the the fit and support is outstanding. I had a sore knee and an elastic bandage type knee wrap didn’t help. This brace did a good job of supporting my knee and helping it to get better. I have only used it for walking - I don’t run or do strenuous exercise so I can’t atest to durability under those conditions. One drawback is that when I wore it for a full day, I got a very itchy rash on my lower leg. Rash cleared up after a day of not wearing the brace. I used there measuring guide and it said I was a small. I'm 6'1" 220 lbs so I was reluctant to order that size but after reading reviews I went ahead and ordered the small. It was perfect fit, I fact I put it on upon receiving it and 4hrs later it's still on as it immediately took the pain away. So glad I bought this. East to put on adjustment straps easy to use. Reason for purchase is continued instability & pain in my left knee AFTER torn meniscus surgery. The reason I've stuck with the Neenca brand is because of past experience with their products & past experience with their post sale customer support. The Amazon ad suggests buying a size smaller. While this is accurate for the pull on compression braces, this braces is different. I ordered an XL when I measured for an XXL. When I first got the brace, it turned out to be too small. A quick email to Neenca brought me correct size replacement. PRO TIP: to assist in pulling on the brace, I wear a nylon sock pull on which covers the area where the brace will fit. When I pull on the brace & it hits the nylon, it assists in allowing me to pull it into the exact correct position with little chafing. This is more supportive than the pull up compression braces. I'm able to wear it all day without discomfort. I'm very satisfied with Neenca products. ... show more

Very uncomfortable, wore for light walk, left deep marks on my leg and felt like it was cutting circulation. Seemed to not fit my calf shape or something, not sure if that was it. Would not be able to wear this for more than 20 minutes, not worth the little support it gives.
