I have been using Naturtint hair color for years. I am currently using the 9N color. I have used other similar shades as well. My hair grows fast, so my roots start showing after week three and by week four, I must color again. But the product itself works great. I get full color coverage, even on my gray. The color doesn't fade. It has a pleasant scent. My hair is actually softer after initial use. The box comes with the color bottle, the developer, plastic gloves, and a tube of hair conditioner which lasts me about two shampoos. I use a lot of conditioner. My hair is thick and coarse and soaks up hair products. I recommend this product. Years ago I used famous brand name hair color products that you can buy in big box stores, but those actually ruined my hair over time. Made my hair very dry and caused a lot of breakage. This was my first time trying this brand of hair color. It was recommended to me by a friend. I've had a lot of trouble finding a brown that wouldn't turn my hair too dark or too red. Also something that would sufficiently cover my gray. This color worked very well I missed a few spots but I think that has more to do with my application than the color itself. I color my hair often due to my grey roots growing out so fast. I have used countless brands and colors over the past years and they have been full of so many chemicals and have smelt horrible but got the job done... I stepped out of my normal in hopes to find something better for me to use and this is exactly what I was hoping for!! I love the fact that this product covers color resistant grey hair. I have a small patch of grey at the crown of my head that other box color wouldn't cover very well. This product also does not have that gross chemical smell and my hair actually seems to be in better shape post color (fewer damaging chemicals, perhaps.) This product is healthy to use, no ammonium, and lasts as long as any other color product. My hairdresser says my hair is so soft, not brittle like those who use chemicals. Every time I use Naturtint, my hair feels softer and more alive.

My hair is black and usually permanent hair dyes don’t work that well but this one did a decent job. I ordered light golden brown which turned my black hair to a reddish brown. I like that it doesn’t have any bad odor like other hair dyes. Taking one star off as the grey coverage is not that good. I have two three grey hair and I can still see them. I was looking for something more natural, and something that wouldn’t burn on application when I came across this product. I was also tired of going to the salon and them turning my hair every color, except what I wanted, and paying hundreds of $$$’s for it. This is the only home coloring kit that I have ever used so I have nothing to really compare it to, but I can tell you that I am very please with it. It’s super easy to apply, does not stain my scalp & leaves a nice, long lasting color. I tend to vary colors between the N & A which gives me a nicer, more natural look. The only thing I would add is that of late they have removed the shampoo from the package and I feel that a shampoo is required as part of the process. That being said I love their shampoo so I have it in the house anyway. I also keep in the house their leave-in conditioner which finishes it off nicely.
