The shackle is sized for gym lockers. Another reviewer said the body is plastic, which is wrong. It is plastic-coated cast metal. I have a chain link fence with several gates. I use these to lock up the gates. They are great! Set your code and access is yours. They have been outside for almost a year and have not rusted and work fine. Better than some of the higher name brands that I had purchased before these.
