This lock is very well-made, and it is very sturdy. I used this when I went to travel and lock the safety cabinet to put valuable stuff. However you need to be careful because I had it some how reset the password when I re locked it, and didn't know the knew password, and had to break the lock. But the lock was very strong that it was not easy to break. So if you are careful with the password, you are good with the strong lock. ... show more

The NAGE PadLocks are a good mid-range lock for convenient use. The main positive element is the easy-to-adjust-easy-to-read entry code window. The construction of these locks is a good design, but it has it`s limitations. The Steel shank is good quality... But the thickness of it would not withstand too much attention from a set of bolt cutters. The Zinc casing likewise, would not withstand much punishment from a stout hammer. Personally; my use is as an inside lock to our backyard fence gates. The fence is 6 feet high, so if an intruder wants to climb over that fence--and brave the attentions of our two Labradors (Butch & Sundance)-- they can take a whack and a crack at the NAGE Locks, with hammer or bolt cutters.... .....If they live long enough. For the money, these are very good locks for basic use. (Oh--and Labradors?...PRICELESS!) I will update this review with any further observations made over time. ... show more

This lock will be used at the gym for short durations on the bathroom lockers. It seems to function properly so far. I certainly wouldn't trust this to lock up my bike or other equipment but it should work fine for short term usage as I intended. It is more of a visual deterrent. If someone has lock cutters, this is probably an easy cut. ... show more

This NAGE 4-Digit Combo Lock is better than expected. It's a good size and the combination is very easy to change. The numbers on the code wheels are large and clear, and easy to see even without glasses. But I would probably not fully trust the contents of my gym locker to any combo lock, because that would usually include my wallet and house/car keys which could lead to bigger problems. It's so easy to keep a key around my neck for that purpose, though this lock does have uses that are more appropriate. For instance, a lock on a toolbox or gate. ... show more

This is a pretty good 2 pack of locks. The numbers are nice a large, easy to read and easy to move. I don't always like the locks like this, but these are a decent mid-range lock. I use this lock in the gym. For the price point it is a good value, but definitely leans towards keeping honest folks honest and not something designed to resist someone with a pry tool. Like Is said in answering someone question about this lock's security you are concerned about "strong enough" then I suspect this lock is not for you. it only latches on one side -- and it's a 4 wheel lock, so by tugging and pulling it might be easy enough to figure out the combination. But it'll stop mischief, keep honest people honest and in a public with people around it'll work because someone would have to linger or make a noise to break into the lock. My boyfriend and I use these locks for our gym lockers. Instructions to set combination are easy to follow and locks feel very sturdy. They're easy to open as numbers are bold and easy to read. Great for gym lockers, inside gates and utility boxes but don't know if the shank is thick enough for a larger gate or to secure anything of high value that can easily be compromised by some bolt cutters or loppers. ... show more
