The gate pressure mounts easily by using tension knobs to secure it in place. Ideal for a variety of room openings or at the bottom of the stairs. This Gate measures 29.8 to 38.1 inches wide with two extensions included and is 30 inches high. Need to make the gate wider- The Essential Walk-Thru Gate has two additional extensions (sold separately) that will expand the gate up to 60.1 inches wide.
