  • Great for close up inspection
I was skeptical when ordering, but my concerns were alleged when I used it the first time. Once set up, the zoom works great for electronic work and inspection of circuit boards. Lighting could be better.

  • Just What I Needed
If you're an avid coin collector you need this Microscope, it has 3 adjustable lights, great focus and it will save you a lot of time trying to find an error with a magnifying glass, it allows you to take pictures and videos of your errors. This is the best purchase I've made for coin collecting.

  • Fantastic! Must-have for the curious and industrious! VERY well-built! Impressed!
Really great quality here in this digital microscope! I wasn't sure what to expect, but all the components are really well made, the threads are perfect and parts mate as they should. Others have mentioned how fab the microscope is for soldering - we'll be getting to that soon, but around here we've had a lot of "biological" needs in terms of inspection, and this has been most helpful. Ever wondered what comprised that icky dog goober on your pup's face? Me, too. Using a petri dish and saline, I slowly dissolved one of these rocks (really hard to see on my black puppy's face) and found that it was mostly amber colored mucus secured tightly to minute bits of fur. Twas the fur giving it the dark complexion, turns out. With the arrival of petri dishes and agar to the house, we're also hoping to culture some issues and see what's growing. That will have to wait on an update since we're currently in the throes of some pup illness, but should be interesting. I also acquired a bottom light and small selection of slides, which were very interesting viewing. I remember having a regular, low powered microscope at home as a kid and looking at these items - this seems like it's a must have for young learners at home. Would be a lot of fun over the summer to investigate all the finds in the yard. The lights were sufficient for illuminating everything I've inspected so far, although I see you can add additional lighting, if necessary. So far, this has been fine. I also see that extension tubes are available - that might be useful if you're doing electronic work (like soldering) and don't want to be too close to the hot stuff. The screen offers a really clear, quality image. Part of the skeptic in me suspected this might be where they could possibly skimp, but no, this is a FANTASTIC screen, and it's capable of handling all you want to explore. I would be interested in additional lenses to up the magnification factor, now that my micro-curiosity has been piqued, so will be looking into that. 101 uses for this item, whether you're merely fixing the missing little connector on your eyeglasses or if you need to inspect precisely what your dog just vomited (sounds gross, but I know some of y'all have those dogs who are happy to try anything on the menu when you walk the block). Really, really happy with this unit! Totally recommend, and endorse for parents who might need some "quiet indoor time" with the kids this summer. That said, it's so much fun to inspect, I'm not sure how quiet it will be, because your kids (and/or your spouse) will keep yelping, "Oh mah gossssh! You have to come see this!" Solid five stars - get one of these Moysuwe HDMI microscopes already! You'll wonder how you lived without it! ... show more

  • Great Soldering Microscope
This is a digital microscope with a possible 1300x magnification. It uses a 16mp sony CMOS camera. It has a built in 7" IPS HD monitor but can be connect to a computer through USB or to a TV with an HDMI cable (included). The microscope has the ability to take video or photographs and store them on a 32GB SD card. You zoom in on items by moving the camera closer to the object on it's viewing bed with the height adjustment knobs and/or you can then use the digital zoom to zoom in up to an additional 16X. The digital Zoom is pretty clear (16X gets a little pixeled). The setup includes three light sources, one a ring around the camera lens and two side lights on adjustable arms. The microscope has a built in battery which is charged with an included USB cable/plug. Once charged the whole microscope with lights becomes portable. When hooked up to a computer/laptop it acts like a web camera and can be recorded/used with any webcam software (I tested it on windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux 22.04, both worked). I'm using this as a soldering microscope and because of the clear digital zoom you have plenty of room to get to your work piece with a soldering iron. You can see in my photos that you can see the smallest components clearly and have plenty of room to work on the board. There is little to no latency/lag when using the built in monitor. Great tool for soldering those small parts. There are a lot of other functions that I haven't gotten into but I took a few screen shots of the options in the microscopes menu. ... show more
