I absolutely love this camera but it might be time to let go after having it for 2 years. The monitor does not hold charge no more and the cameras seem to glitch when I need it to move through the monitor. I do love that it does not have to be connected to Wifi and that I can do split screen to be able to to watch both kids. What I do not like is the view angle, I believe it doesn’t have much coverage. The cord is stretched the farthest it can reach without being unplugged and you can barely see half of the crib. You’d need an extension cord to view it all. It’s extremely laggy and the night vision is awful. Before this monitor, we had a cheapy $50 camera that had better quality than this. If you have the parent unit screen turned off but audio on (power save mode) it takes about 15 seconds for it to turn back on. It has about a 3-5 seconds delay on sound, so you hear your baby cry in real time and along comes the monitor noises a few seconds later. The parent unit constantly clicks like there is a frequency issue even though we are well within range. I just can’t believe how expensive this product is for what you’re receiving. It also doesn’t come with mounts so I had to purchase them separately. The battery life on the parent unit is great but that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this monitor. After trying to give it a chance for 4 days, I purchased a different monitor with split screen capabilities for $40 less and the quality is the best I’ve ever seen. Keep shopping… ... show more

We bought this exact model 2 years ago, a year ago one camera randomly stopped working, but could make do with just one. What we originally liked about it was the clarity of the monitor screen and the signal radius. After two years we had to buy a new set (first red flag) and just decided to stick with this one, but this newer set, exact same model #, is terrible. The screen quality was blurry, panning the screen was hit or miss and usually the camera wouldn’t stop moving even once you let go of the button. The camera stopped moving all together after TWO days of use. I would not recommend buying this monitor set anymore. It’s more expensive and definitely not worth it. Update: Less than a year later it no longer holds a charge (must be plugged in at all times) and the charging cord has to be in the perfect position in order for it to stay on. I had the older version and it was great until the monitor fell down the stairs. Had to buy a whole new one. Worked great for about a week. The temperature of both rooms constantly reads LL. Our house is kept between 69-72 so I know the temp isn't a low level. The monitor also just shuts off randomly if not plugged in despite having a fully charged battery. I use the toggle mode so that it switches from room to room on its own throughout the night. It has started to stop toggling on it's own. I'll wake up in the middle of the night to a bright screen (it turns the screen on when it stops toggling) and realize it has stop toggling from room to room. Luckily, when it stops toggling its usually the older child's room that it stops viewing/listening to. Picture quality with one of the camera isn't bad the other one is just a fuzzy mess when night mode is one. Overall, I do not recommend this monitor. We were trying to find a monitor that didn't break the bank but now I wish we would have spent a little more. Does this monitor work? Yes (most of the time). It locks up and gives us an LL error and then we can't pivot the camera to view our daughter. The only way to reset it is to unplug it but that would involve waking the baby. If it's zoom didn't suck so much the lock up wouldn't be an issue because the camera still functions, you just can't move it. The zoom is super close (even when our all the way) and unless it's mounted on the ceiling- you can't get a whole crib picture but then the cord isn't long enough.... ... show more

After reading all the negative reviews i was skeptical. I have had these cameras now two to three months and have had zero issues with the parent monitor or the cameras connecting to it. And they have stayed connected. Picture is clear enough at night and during the day that i can see my twins and how they are laying. For the price for two cameras it is decent and worth the money. There is no Wi-Fi to connect to an app for the phone, And the screen is a little bright at night. Sound quality is good. Monitor battery life is good. We had an older model that only had a single camera and needed to upgrade to a two model version. Overall these work great and we mostly use them for the sound not the video but there is a significant decrease in video quality from our old one to this one. It works for us though!
