We have a growing collection of remote-controlled vehicles including ground vehicles, drones, and now planes. When I saw this one, I wanted to see if we could make it work for when the kids come to visit. The plane could almost be looked at as a first dive, perhaps even disposable, foray into flying remote planes. The first thing to remember is that this is not a drone so when you hit the throttle you had better be ready to fly and have the space to do so. We have a large backyard and our first flight worked but ended with us bouncing off of a tree. This crash led to the tail section being almost completely severed off which was frustrating because it was only a slight and angled bump. We managed to use some lightweight electrical tape to put it back together and then went out front where we have even more room to work with. The plane did still fly ok, but it is sort of a challenge to control it given how light it is and therefore how even a slight breeze can impact it. It comes with two small rechargeable batteries which don't last very long but there isn't much more you could put on there without weighing down the plane to much. I hesitate to give it three stars because it does do what it's supposed to do, and it is fun to use. With that said, the price point for this plane is a little on the high end considering that it really is little more than a disposable toy for getting the hang of learning to fly remote controlled planes. If you do decide to buy this and don't mind the points that I have brought up, the flying itself is pretty fun and I think you will enjoy it. ... show more

It's a cool little RC plane. It comes with quite a few spare parts which you're going to inevitably need unless you're just really good with it right out of the box. As with anything, there's a learning curve to it. We haven't had a chance to play with it a whole lot so I'm not sure about the battery life. At this point, it's just one of those fun, novelty products to pass some time and do something a little different. Kids and adults alike would have fun with it! ... show more

I bought this for our grandkids to play with and it was really fun. I say “was”, because one of my grandsons was flying it, we let it get too far away and lost the ability to control it. It headed off into the sunset and may still be going for all I know. Up until that point, I was pretty impressed at how it was fairly simple to fly and also had a decent battery life. This little plane/flier is providing my 12 year old with a lot of fun so far, even though the nose broke off within the first minute of using it. It has a little learning curve to figure out the best way to get it going, but all in all not a bad toy. Batteries last about 20 minutes until they are unable to keep the plane in the air. The controls seem responsive in that the plane seems to do what you tell it to but figuring out the controls isn't as straight forward as you might think. I guess they give you the two batteries for a reason. This place was easy to learn to fly but seems to lose power after a few minutes. Keep the other battery they supply you with to keep the fun going. Real heart design just may need a little more powerful battery I still give it a 9

This is a fun little RC toy and it looks really cool flying through the air. It's fairly easy to control and it really zips. It's too bad that I ended up losing it LOL.
