So, if you have a chewer, don't get this; my dog got ahold of this and shredded it. But once he realized we did NOT want him doing that, it's been great! It doesn't absorb like ALL of it. It's not a towel, but it does help if your pup loves to drag water with them. My suggestion, get a bigger one than you think haha! ... show more

I got this for my slobbery pup but unfortunately it isn't very absorbent as we quickly noticed water underneath the mat as well. It helps a little but not enough to make it worth it. Maybe a larger size would've been better.

This thing is terrible. Does not absorb water. Very small. I find myself having more of a wet mess with this mat then before and we’ve replaced it with paper towels for now… which have performed much better. Bounty paper towels to the rescue.

Update: The seller contacted me for a full refund after seeing my review so ive increased the stars from 3/5 due to their customer service. The matts seem fine. Idk if i would call them "absorbant" but they are better than like a plain silicone one. The light grey is super ugly though. Its really REALLY light and maybe almost a brown grey color?
