I got this universal seat belt to use on my sons small power chair that doesn't have a seat belt. It is very sturdy and durable. It's 2" wide and about 60" in length with a strong, easy to use buckle. This belt will work on any wheelchair, scooter, or anything that has a supportive back it can go around to secure a person. It would nice if it had some way to attach it to the wheelchair so it wouldn't fall off every time you unbuckle the person using it. I'll probably get a velcro strap to secure it to the power chair to remedy that issue. This is an inexpensive gadget for wheelchair travel. It only takes one bump to have a serious wheelchair issues. As another reviewer pointed out, the clasp part is plastic, and I'm not sure how well it would hold up should the full weight of an adult slide against it. This belt isn't for those who are expecting a lot of stress on it. It's not the webbing, that feels like a car seatbelt. It's the buckle. The plastic used feels inexpensive, more like airsoft gear than medical equipment. It should be fine if the user is cooperative and otherwise stable, but it feels out of place, especially compared to the quality of the webbing. At five bucks, it's a bargain for the webbing alone. This seat belt is an amazing value for all the added safety it provides. Nothing fancy , simply a snap bucket belt this is adjustable to length. It can be wrapped around the back of a chair, wheelchair or most anything that is long enough to reach around and then go around a persons waist.
