  • MULTIPLE FUNCTION - Several cleaning modes allow for separate detoxification of raw foods, thermal treatment, antiparasitic treatment, and detoxification of household items (keys, jewelry, etc.).
  • EFFORTLESS - Simple and easy process can be performed daily. User-friendly touchscreen display. Plugs directly into 120V AC wall outlet.

  • Seems to Work as Advertised
The media could not be loaded. This might be a good device if you have worries about your fruits and vegetables not being clean and being contaminated with pesticides. This gives you at least some way to take action so it might be worth the investment. One thing I did not like is that it requires that you provide a glass container. (A plastic container is not recommended. I guess a metal container might work as well.) I had a large glass mixing bowl that I used. I would like it to come with an appropriate glass container, like the one pictured in the listing. You need a certain amount of depth for the device so I’m thinking most people may not have an appropriate container to use. Since this is not an inexpensive device, it would be nice if they provided everything you need as a set. It seemed to function well. I tested on strawberries. I found seeds and such at the bottom of the bowl when the cycle was complete. Does it remove pesticides? I can only assume so since I cannot test that aspect. This device is not limited to food. You can also clean jewelry and other things you want to deep clean. There is a special cycle for those items. So, if you want to do as much as you can to clean your fruits and vegetables then this might just be for you. ... show more

  • Does it really detoxify??
“MIRA Safety DTX-1 Oxidizing Food Detoxifier | Meat, Fruit, and Vegetable Wash Machine | Food Cleansing Kitchen Gadget” We ordered this because my wife and I are very concerned with pesticides and contaminants in the food supply, and we saw this as a tool to assist in eating cleaner and healthier. Not knowing a lot about how ultrasonic waves and rapid oxidation and negative ions work, we read the directions, and then proceeded to clean all of the vegetables we picked up from the markets. The following are our observations on this cleaning device: 1. The directions were easy to read and follow, and once the device is charged, it is ready to go. 2. A large sink, non-plastic bowl, or container is needed to fill with water to use the device, so keep that in mind before getting started. 3. The device cleans for about 6-10 minutes depending on the food items. We primarily cleaned a variety of fruits and raw vegetables, but we haven’t tried it on meat yet. 4. Debris and dirt particles remain in the bowl afterwards, similar to washing in a vinegar and/or water rinse. 5. We’ve done some reading on detoxifying using a combination of ultrasonic waves and rapid oxidation to release and dissolve toxins to cleanse both water and produce, but since there is no way for us to measure the toxins on our food beforehand or afterwards, it is hard to tell just how clean the food becomes. The claims made for this state of the art device say that it uses ZERO chemicals, solvents, cleaning agents, or additives, and that it’s been tested for effectiveness, and approved by laboratories in Switzerland and the European Union. 6. Another interesting feature is that it can clean keys, rings, and a variety of items through a variety of cleaning modes. This allows for separate detoxification of raw foods, thermal treatment, anti-parasitic treatment, and detoxification of household items (keys, jewelry, etc.). 7. The price is steep, but if the technology is reliably accurate, it may be a worthy, and dare I say, invaluable investment for those who can afford this type of item. In conclusion, if there could be a way to test the level of toxins beforehand and afterwards to assure that foods are truly clean, this would be game changing for the food service industry, or anyone who can’t handle the toxic load in the everyday food supply. This is a very interesting product, and overall, we are pleased. We marked down one star for not really being able to know with sufficient proof that this machine actually detoxifies. ... show more

  • Game-Changer for Health-Conscious Foodies
The DTX-1 uses ultrasonic waves and rapid oxidation to cleanse fruits, vegetables, and meats. It releases active oxygen molecules into the water, completely penetrating your food to eliminate toxins and pesticides. Plus, it's been tested and approved in Switzerland and the European Union for safety and effectiveness. What's even more impressive is its versatility. With multiple cleaning modes, I can use it for raw foods, thermal treatment, antiparasitic treatment, and even detoxify household items like keys and jewelry. ... show more

  • Amazing how it cleans my strawberries!
When I first got this I rinsed off a package of organic strawberries like I usually do, then used this on them according to the instructions. I have a large rubbermaid bowl for salads, and it is perfect for this cleaner. I really could not believe how much dirt and debris came off the strawberries in about 10 minutes! It almost makes me sick to realize that I have been eating this dirt along with every meal or snack. I did it with blueberries - there was less dirt, but still the water was noticeably darker afterwards. Not sure what that was but the main point is that I am no longer eating it! The purifier is very easy to use, there is a quick start page as well as a more involved owners manual that goes into more detail. The screen on the top is easy to read, and comes with several pre-set options, so you don't need to program it or anything. It comes with a charger and a cord - I have used it for a good week now and it's still going strong. Clearly the battery is a good size so you don't have to worry about dealing with that all the time. It also looks very sleek and stylish on the counter - it's pretty unobtrusive so I don't feel the need to put it away after every time I use it. It's basically a part of my kitchen now. I tried it on my keys (took the car fob off!) and it did remove some tarnish and they were noticeably cleaner. I imagine they get quite germy too since we are handling them all the time - but now they are not. I don't know the details about how the oxidation aspect neutralizes pesticides and such, but I do believe it. I think that might be one of the reasons that the water changes color when I use it on some fruits and vegetables. It's a noticeable difference and makes me feel much safer feeding these things to my kids. On the whole I think this is rather expensive, but considering what it does, I'm not sure I would trust something much cheaper. It's solidly built to last - it seems very durable and clearly is not going to break any time soon. Given the level of technology, the quality, and the design, I think this is a good value and recommend it to anyone who is concerned about contaminants in their food. ... show more
