It was delivered intact with no cracks on the product. After washing, I tested the spout for any leaks and there was none. It came with a single filter that produced clean tasting water. I placed the container in a spot near the faucet with a retractable head. For a month now, I haven’t had any leaks on the spout nor cracks on the walls. I think it helps if you place the water container in a place where you don’t move it frequently. This prevents it from hitting other objects that would cause it to crack or move the spout producing leaks. If it is not filtering well, check if the top of the filter is covered by bubbles. It helps if you direct the water towards the filter to push the bubbles away. This usually resolves the slow filtering based on my experience. If you prefer cold filtered water, I suggest just getting filtered water from the container and placing it in a pitcher and place this in the refrigerator. That way, you reduce the risk of the container and spout getting damaged in the process of moving it to and from the faucet to the ref. ... show more

Chose this one because I already had filters from using the brita pitcher. Like the size,shape and color and that sits easily on the counter. It does not take up alot of space.Easy to fill. Love it. My daughter has the black but it uses different filter. They love it. My son-in-law's mother has this one. Loves it. Grandkids like filling up the water tank and it's easy for them to use. We drink so much more water now with this product -- the water tastes and smells fresher and better. In that way, the product does exactly what it is supposed to do. However, the spigot leaks -- and pretty severely. We have had this product since January. We keep it on the bottom shelf of our refrigerator, just above the crisper drawers. Over the past two months we have opened the drawers only to find that they are nearly full of (expertly filtered!) water. Surely Brita has a fix for this issue, as I see we are not the only family experiencing this issue with this otherwise wonderful product? ... show more

The quality of this is high. It’s definitely worth your money. It’s super easy to use in store if you have it on your counter or even in the fridge. It filters your water pretty quickly. And filtering your water with the brand new filter makes the water taste really good.

This filter works really well, I have only had it for about a week now and have had no issues with the quality. The only issue is leakage. In other reviews I saw mentions of it and didn’t believe that would be the case… I was very wrong. My fridge has flooded twice now even with placing towels in there to prevent spillage. Definitely need to find a way to stop leaking if you don’t want a flooded fridge filled with water ... show more
