I just purchased a very reasonable set of pots and pans that come with two sets of lids. One set is for refrigerated items and one is for cooking. I bought this additional handle to use on the cookware. The pans can go from stove top to oven to refrigerator or to freezer the seven pot collection is wonderful and this handle can go from item to item. I bought a set that came with 2 handles and had to juggle too often when I was cooking something ambitious. This doesn't quite match the others but it's functionally identical. The price is so unreasonable that I took it out of my cart and it sat in Save For Later for months. Impulsively bought it when I needed to add something to get free same day shipping. Especially when I make a frittata or any dish that I fry and put in the oven to brown, I can remove the handle and not worry if the handle can take the heat. I know they can take the heat, but removing them increases the service life of the handles. It also makes storing the cookware very easy. They grip just as well as a bolted on or riveted handle.
