Works like it should, cuts nice and smoothly and quickly. Only used once so far but battery (a 5.0AH version) only ran down one tick after a half hour. Came in original milwaukee packaging unopened (was still glued shut). Good purchase for home yard maintenance use

    • EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!
I trimmed down a very large hedge that was extremely overgrown. The average size of each shoot 3/8 to 3/4 inch and it cut through them very well, more so than I thought it would, and even a few that were bigger than the specs of the cutter. I used a M18 Red Lithium XC 5.0 battery and it lasted for the entire cut, which took about 12 hours to complete (not running time). I was pleasantly pleased as I thought because of the size of the hedge and it's overgrown state that I'd be changing batteries frequently, but not so! Bottom line = EXCELLENT TOOL! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Runs on Milwaukee batteries, light weight, makes quick work of trimming, comes with cover for the blades when not in use

Like practically all Milwaukee FUEL products, this trimmer is very well built and sturdy. It's a little heavier than some others on the market, but that's something of a trade-off for having a tool like this last for many years and not be worried about it getting accidentally kicked around or dropped.     • Nice but very heavy
The trimmer works extremely well and has a lot of power. The only negative is how heavy it is. I spend a fair amount of time in the gym and have a better than average level of strength and this thing absolutely wore me out trying to wield it!

I usually do these ratings. As mentioned, this trimmer is a little heavier than I thought it would be. I'm comparing it to a Stihl corded trimmer. This works as well and maybe better on my arborvitae hedge. I sharpened the Stihl and used it side by the Milwaukee. I accidentally cut the extension cord. I'm not likely to use the Stihl again.
