  • And worst nailgun award goes to! Milwaukee!
A 1 star just doesn’t do this review justice! More like negative 5 stars.. guys do not buy this nail gun! I thought since majority of the review were years old they have fixed some things. They have not. Like the brad gun I believe they are overhauling these and coming out with a gen 2 model. What I like: it’s quiet.... runs all day on a battery...well let’s just dive in to what I don’t like head first. It’s heavy....way more than the competitors... it feels solid but so does a dumbbell. The tip on this is massive 1”x 1”. Forget nailing a small piece of base in a corner. Setting nails.... just have a hammer ready. It has a little kick to it and if you don’t firmly press in to the material it will bounce and not set the nail. Thermal overload....Jesus take the wheel!!! This is what sent me over the edge. You go though a few racks of nails and it will shut it’s self down. I’m trying to set doors and this things wants to take breaks every 10 minutes!! Do not be tricked to think you’ll get one and yours will be ok. It won’t and you’ll regret the purchase. ... show more

  • Great nail gun, highly recommend
I waited to write a review until I used this product. This product had many bad reviews and I’d have to say it’s all due to user error. I’ve put about 4000 nails through this gun and it works amazing. I have a air nailer and I will use this gun over it any day.

  • Good tool I would definitely buy it again
Very durable, the balance seemed a little heavy on the battery if you use the large batteries

  • Good for a handyman but not for a pro.
Like everyone I read the mostly neutral reviews and watched few videos on youtube about this products. I bought it regardless the negative vibe and after using it for about 40 days I had to send the gun back to Milwaukee for repair. First of all I'm not a pro just casual user that got sick and tired of running air hoses and bringing compressor to the job site for 20 min of work. This seemed like a perfect solution. So in a nutshell it works. It sinks nails as it should after you tweak it a bit. It's not a care free use tool as air guns are. I got the best result with proper placement and bracing. When using rapid fire mode I wasn't getting the results I wanted. Out of every 10 nails one would not sink all the way requiring going back with a nail punch and fixing it. That didn't worry me too much since I switched back to single fire mode and used it that way without any problems. Now changing between nail sizes is harder and not as fast as in a regular nail gun. Again not a deal breaker for me as I'm not a pro for whom time is money. Gun is heavy and with bigger battery it seems a bit off balance but portability is great. Now like I mentioned mine broke. It started to jam, than it would shoot one nail only and wouldn't load the next than it stopped working all together. I shipped it back to the manufacturer and will update this review if replacement breaks. I think if you are a handyman doing projects and use it for small jobs than it is an awesome tool. If you plan to run 100s of nails in an hour looking for a finish and flush look than I would stay away. ... show more

  • One of my favorite tools
I wasn’t sure about this given the mixed reviews. I watched countless YouTube videos where this thing kinda gets a bad rap. It consistently sinks nails, you just need to ensure you firmly press the gun to the wood. Never once overheated and shut down.

  • ... in the promo by milwaukee but was very very sad that it will not drive brads consistently in oak ...
Got this at my local ace hardware for $399 I have been waiting for this for almost 6 months all excited of the performance in the promo by milwaukee but was very very sad that it will not drive brads consistently in oak 2 in. As advertised even worse I can not get it to even drive consistently in popular or pine I can not go over every brad in my trim with a punch 1 or 2 now and then is OK but 95% it's worthless the 18g Dewalt for $98 (not cordless) is the best gun to date it will put perform senco and a grex hands down but the Milwaukee gun for $399 it make me want to cry a whole river ;( I so wanted this gun to work but am sorely disappointed RIP my depth adjuster was set to full depth and wood not set nails consistently i also talked to a and was toled Milwaukee engineer he had personely used one and it did work ( a bata gun) but QC was asleep with this first Batch was released ... show more

  • ... locks the gun so it does not fire very annoying for the pricing
Nail retraction Guide does not catch nails every time which lets it slide all the way to the front which locks the gun so it does not fire very annoying for the pricing
