I am very satisfied with this dog bed. The material is soft and seems well made. Spawn of Satan loves this bed! She now takes "cat naps" during the day in her home. The door is left open most of the day and all night. I gave it one star for chew proof. Nothing is chew proof to a determined Labrador. She has yet to shred this bed so I feel safe to say this dog bed is Lab Approved. ... show more

I got this little pad for my cat that has arthritis in her arm. She typically lays in my bed, but I wanted her to have an extra layer of comfort, especially during the short periods of time when we use the heating pad. The texture has a very low pile so her nails don't get caught and it doesn't trap hair or debris. I then discovered that this pad fits perfectly in her cat carrier! She goes to the vet monthly for arthritis injections and this pad comes in handy. Not only is it familiar and cozy to her, it allows me to slide her out of the carrier quickly once it's time for her exam! It's also something soft for her to lie on, instead of the hard exam table. These are so soft! I'm sure the dogs are very comfortable. They'll need to go in the washer for cleaning, but that's no big deal. Definitely not wipeable. Certainly not chew proof, let's hope the pups don't try.

Was a bit concerned when I opened the packing box that it was somewhat lightweight. But it is thick, very soft and fluffy and does not move around at all. And my cat has essentially given up her other "hiding spaces" for this.

Sadly, it's been in the mid-nineties for well over a month now and my dog prefers sleeping on the cool tile floor rather than this plush new cushion. Best for cooler climates to my mind but, will hopefully see some action this winter.
